I don't think a football club with millions of fans around the world needs to be "defended" from some ****ing **** moderator from the tottenham hotspur board.
With you on this one Baz mate .. They make little jokes about us all the time but can't take a little bit of banter ..
Cheers mate, just for the record, our chairman and board, were planning Rodgers replacement in March of this year, after all the attention coming from Spurs at the time, when Harry was being linked with the england job! We've kind of got used to not keeping our managers more than a season or two, maybe Laudrup will be in it for the long run, but I doubt, but it's good to have a 22% representation of the fans on the board at Swansea, it means the club is run by the fans, and for the fans, not many clubs are that fortunate, but it was born from our nearly passing out of existence some ten years ago! But look where we are now, and the football we play, wouldn't change it for the world, all the best this season, with Rodgers!..................
I want Swansea to do well... Just not when you play us! I signed Joe Allen on FIFA - maybe he'll play in red in real life some day haha.
**** all this. If Sigurdsson signs for the Spuds then good luck to him. Billy rated him for his performance in a Swansea side that was far better in its sum than it was in the skill rating of its parts. He is far from being the only young player available in the world who can bring quality to our squad. Move on it's his loss. As for the spuds themselves they have their own problems this Summer. Will they be able to keep Bale, Modric and VdV? Where will they be able to find a striker? They need a goalkeeper. Dawson cannot seriously be considered as a replacement for King? This Summer is going to be a very very testing time. As for Swansea, their true test comes this season. They managed very well last season. However, every side in the Prem now knows what to expect and have seen how other sides have managed to overcome them. Let's just see what happens. Even after 3 seasons in the Prem they cannot be considered as being true regulars. Let's just see what Liverpool do and the signings that they do make. Sometimes we will be successful, sometimes we will not - that's life.
Vertohgen will replace King,Bale had already said he's staying, expect VdV to stay, and Modric,if the goes it will be Real Madrid for 35 Million,or he will stay
Agreed, i was looking forward to him signing, but if hes the sort of lad to chop and change who he wants to go too beacause of an extra wage id rather he sighned for spurs. I thought he wanted to play under Rogers again, thats why he picked us over the swans. Unfortunatly it may be anothercase of who will pay me the most. Not what we are looking for, if thats the case
Really suprised if he does decide to move to Spurs who currently have no manager, expecially when is reason for not joining Swansea was that he didn't like the uncertainty around not having a manager etc. Sounds they money has made his head spin which is a shame but, like has been said many time before, I want players that want to play for Liverpool, not players that are just comg for the money.
My take as a Jack Bastard from my post on our forum.... Just proves how 'dangerous' social media sites can be for one's reputation.....I quote the man's own Twitter or should I say Twatter!.... Gylfi Sigurdsson‏@OfficialGylfi 28/5/12 the fans were one of the main reasons for me joining full time #ThankYouAll Gylfi Sigurdsson‏@OfficialGylfi 08/6/12 I expect not to stay at Swansea because of the uncertainty going on there as it is not clear who is going to be the boss Gylfi Sigurdsson‏@OfficialGylfi 2 hrs ago I have made my decision as to where I will be playing next season and will inform you all when everything is complete Am I alone, but my reading into this was: he agreed terms as wanted to play first team in the Prem in a guaranteed first team place in a style that suits under Buck..... Buck left and he was unsure as we had no manager left the door open for Buck to make a move with even more of a wage increase...... then a mangerless Spurs with Van Der Vart playing in his favoured position possibly come in and make him look very foolish.. ...as I said, be careful what you say!!! If it turns out to be Buck and Liverpool, then I understand, otherwise he has proved himself to be a massively disengenous/greedy (and already very rich) man. Good riddance.
Says Mr Levy's chief scout and contract negotiator. How the **** do you know? Are you shagging Daniel?
It's going to be a long long worrying Summer for you. On top of that you still have to find a new manager - with all of the problems that will ensue. The media would have us believe that Spurs are interested in Blanc. As he couldn't control the egos in the French dressing room, how is he likely to cope with the Spurs ego? If any of the 3 players that I mentioned get a good offer then they are going to consider it and then allbets are off. No matter how much you get for them, there is no guarantee that you are going to sign equivalent or better skill or that they well either settle or gel. Without trying to WUM you, I rather be in our position this season.
The thing is this Gylfi is signing for spurs because they are a big club. liverpool were a big club many moon ago. One in the eye for brenda and so much for his unique relationship with siggy, Must admit to having a chuckle over this.
Just so that you can feel aggreived: SWANSEA ARE NOT A SMALL CLUB, THEY ARE MINNOWS. Now come back and tell me what Spurs have won over the last 10 years.
