True about Rosenior, although I think the United lads are more down to the advice of Warren Joyce than Steve Walsh. Not a criticism of him, I have heard many people comment on how valuable he is, rather a criticism of the reporting of the media.

I still question whether we wasted £2.5m on Fryatt and McLean but I suspect that was borne of desperation rather than a considered set of purchases.

I'd say Fryatt was definitely worth the money we paid for him, unfortunately, the same can't be said of Mclean.

The jury is still out on Fryatt in my book. He could be a 20 goal a season player (which is what we need for a promotion campaign) IF he gets a traditional CF to play off. The thing that worries me about him is his lack of pace.

McLean, bless him, is simply not good enough at this level.

It will be an interesting Summer (hopefully) as we need a fair few players. Expect we will sign 3 or 4 perms and the usual crop of loans depending on how much dead wood we can shed. I've been impressed with our loans on the whole.

Don't think Tiny Bellend has done enough to warrant a contract tho. We can barely afford one luxury player (Koren), let alone two. Hoping and praying Cardiff don't go up as the odds on him coming to us would then change from "No Chance" to "Very Little Chance"!!

Was over the moon with the news about Evans last week. Some idiots keep saying they can't see what he brings to the table!! Should have gone to Specsavers. The new Scott Parker in my eyes given he is only 20. Hope the shameful Boo-boys don't do a job on him. :emoticon-0183-swear

Wonder if NP has thought of putting a bid in for Kevin McNaughton. Easily the best left back in the Division in my view. With him and Rosenior bombing forward, I might forgive NP for playing Chester as a sweeper (what a waste!!).

Greening in the centre circle as Captain all we would then need would be a speedy left winger and a CF!!

Actually that's dream-world. I'm resigned to NEVER again see us Muller a side (or even look like were going to muller a side) whilst NP is in charge, but that's OK so long as he takes us back to the promised land.

Hull City are set to sgin a number of new faces in the summer:
-Josh McEchran will join on a season long loan from Chelsea
-Liverpool Goalkeeper and Hungary International, Peter Gulasci, is set to join Hull on a free transfer
-Jes s Rueda will join from Real Valladolid for around £220,000
-Nicky Ajose will join from Manchester United on a six month loan, after impressing in League 2 with Bury
-Bo&#345;ek Do&#269;kal will join from Slovan Liberec in Czech Republic on a free transfer
-Simon Walton will re-sign from Plymouth but only will be given a one month rolling contract to prove he has the right attitude as well as fitness
-Jody Craddock will join from Wolves for around £600,000
-Yaan Kermogant will join on a free transfer from Leicester City
-Jack Cork, currently on loan with Burnley from Chelsea, will join Hull City on loan for a full season and if City can provide the money, anytime during the spell, he is available for around £1.7 million
-Shavar Thomas, currently plying his trade in the MLS, will join on trial with a view to a six month rolling contract.

Neil Danns will definately not be joining though, as he set for a trial with Sporting Gijon in Spain. If he fails the trial, he's lined up a three year contract at Eredivsie side NAC Breda. Anthony Gerrard, Brad Guzan and Jack Hobbs will not be signing to. Gerrard is set for a £1 million move to Blackpool, Guzan will be released by Aston Villa and is set to sign for Wolves and finally, Hobbs is in contract talks with Wigan Athletic.

The whole thing is one article, someone with far too much time on their hands.
 
I wouldn't mind that Ajose at all. I saw him play preseason in the same game as Chester, Stewart, and Possebon and Ajose was a class above in that side. Reminded me a lot of Ronaldo in his first season with Man U. Pacey, full of tricks, could use either foot and had a good finish but lacked a bit on the decision making side.
 
That is indeed a really good article OLM. Great to see that we are building a really strong scouting network and some brilliant coaching and backroom staff, ie Joe Corrigan. Our future is looking really bright!

There's a few of them that I wouldn't mind seeing at City, but alas, I fear the list is completely made up(in Walton and Kermogant's case, I bloody hope so).
