Now that Bale has confirmed he is staying, we can all turn our attention to whether or not the Goons will keep RVP. I don't think they will.

Anyone know the latest on what club he'll be playing for, next season? I still believe that £ity are favourites.

Being bored, I set about browsing the Goonlet board and I came across a thread started by one particularly over-optimistic goonlet who, after creaming his pants that AFC have almost as many strikers/forwards as £ity (which is about 20), he then proceeded to **** himself senseless (metaphorically speaking) at which of those would be with the club next season. He came up with this short-list. I simply had to share this with you.

I think we will be left with the following Strikers in the squad:

RVP
Giroud
Podolski
Walcott
Gervinho
Park
Campbell
Afobe

Centrally i think our main options will be RVP, Giroud, Park in that order, with Gervinho, Walcott and Podolski playing wide roles...

RVP...

Has this tool not been keeping up with the news? Has no one told him that RVP as refused to sign another contract and is already angling for a move to £ity?

Did I say "optimistic"? I meant foolishly deluded.

Podolski has decided to embarrass himself via the medium of song:

How absolutely classless!

You'd never catch Defoe doing something like that.

Or any of our legends, such as Hoddle, Waddle, or Ardilles...

Oh, wait... !
