Anyone else noticed that he is complaining less about tyre wear?

That's probably because he knows the team pit-stops would cost him way more than running around without a car... I can't be the only one waiting for the team radio... "You can come in now Lewis, you've gone a few more laps into this race than we'd thought...", "**** NO!!!", as Hamilton bounces around on rims...

Mclaren truly are a woefully comic clown outfit...

For Hamilton to be leading the World Championship with this team (or at least, he was at the start of this race) is unbelievable.

Granted, on average he has had a better car than Alonso. But let's say the advantage over the season has been three tenths a lap. That means very little if you're losing 5-10 seconds in the pit lane per race, and then end up having to overtake two or three reasonably good cars to get back to your original position.

I was excited by McLarens 2.9s stop, knew I shouldn't have been.

Oh well, at least this year I can expect Hamilton to rebuild

It should not be forgot that Hamilton's first pitstop was only 2.9 seconds.

EDIT: BLS got there before me. :(

The pit stop ruined his race. When will they learn? It happens too often for it to be just 'bad luck'.

This time it was just bad luck; the front jack failed, it was not a mistake by the pit crew of anything. Button's first pitstop was 3.5 seconds and Hamilton's was 2.9.

;) Hmm, you may have a point. I can't go with bad luck though because it's every frickin' race.

Why do Mclaren not believe in the simplest solution?

Personally I thought the McLaren pitcrew did very well not to lose even more time in the pits after the jack FAILED. It isn't like it was a mistake like the others have been, it was a mechanical failure of a piece of equipment that has nothing to do with McLaren at all. The speed with which they employed their fail-safe jack was great, could've been a lot worse.

Hamilton should have gone to Kwik Fit, joking aside, that front jack failure cost Lewis a win, no wonder he was f**king pissed off when Maldo gently T boned him.

Mclaren waste money on a different jack from everybody else, why? Just use a normal one instead of trying to be different all the time. They really p*ss me off, I want Lewis to leave them but there is nowhere for him to go unfortunately.
