But seriously, if you know anything about the history of Russia/Soviet Union/Russia the r*pe and pillage of the country by the oligarchs is actually even more sad than it may appear. The Russian people deserve far better.

Actually, if we all start calling Brendan Rodgers "King Brendan" that'd piss off the Mouser's, too, because (a) he isn't a Kop legend, and (b) his first name doesn't begin with a "k."

It would make more sense for the player to come to a better side.

'Pool are going to find this more and more, that by being a mid-table team, they are going to miss out on a lot of their targets if one of the big boys (ie. Top 4) come after them.

I'm sure he'll be rushing to sign for the spuds what with AVB/The French Failure about to be the manager, mind you I guess he could be tempted by Champions League football...oh wait a minute....<whistle>
 
Gaffe, I can see what you are trying to say, and there may be some truth in that. However, I am fairly certain that if it's a choice between playing for us or playing for Swansea's second XI, he'll choose us, no matter who we have in charge <ok>
