very mature Valley. go on, indulge me. Interested that's all. I haven't come on here hurling abuse like most of the obsessives that come over to our board. Would you spend money on something that doesn't belong to you, increasing its value for someone else?
your right ccfc. they cant grasp that we cant do anything, the stadium is not ours do do anything with.. they can bang on all they like but they are wasting their time.......there are others who have as much say in anything that happens at the liberty and not just us......sorry no can do its not ours FACT
Go and ask a retailer if they would spend money on something they don't own. my friend has just spent about £30k renovating a pub that he doesn't own, it's leased from a brewery. Does that answer your question ?
Superswan you know one of the partners is the council, why don't you go and ask them if it can be done ? They will know a lot more than your amateur opinion
No it doesn't valley, you were going to explain the agreement. If you understand it so well, it wouldn't take more than a few sentences. Fair play to your mate for taing the risk. It's not something I would tend to do unless it would depreciate over the duration of the lease. £30k over 5 years when you'd probably need to spend £30k again is one thing, £10-15M is something different. Saying that, if the council has it's head screwed on it would probably tell you to go ahead. If the stadium is worth £50M now and you spend £10M on it, they could probably sell it to you for £60M in the future. Saying that, what is the view of your co-tenant, the Ospreys. They might have an interest.
Taking financial advise from a Cardiff fan probably isn't remotely on the agenda of most Swan fans , but if you feel the need .
Must have sent it to the wrong address , oh well better late than never.... at least I kept my word hehe !
Not giving advice, but asking a question if you look back up the thread. Unfortunately, Valley seems incapable of understanding the question.
Remote! It does seem an unusual arrangement they have with the paying of rent at the liberty. I know, speaking to a m8 down that way that locals are starting to question how the community is actually benefiting from Premiership football.
Pretty general statement that , I've never heard any grumblings ,the only ones who seemed upset by our arrangement are kardiff .How's you plans on expansion going on ? I'd be more concerned about your woes if I was you ,we're doing fine thanks for asking
Incapable or uninterested remote ?. You must have taken lessons from bob in steering questions in the direction you want answers ... he wrote the book . Good luck finding any takers
I can understand the question, what I can't be bothered to do is answer it as you have no interest. And if you did have any it's quite easy to find answers
which part dont you understand that the stadium is not ours to do what we want with. we pay RENT and the ospreys have as much say on what can happen as anyone and there is no way they would want to play in a stadium that will be three quarters empty for 80% of their matches. It would be like playing in a morgue for them and wont happen if they say no...it cant and its as simple as that....we still dont have a training ground and facilities fit for a premiership club so a 35,000 all seater is pie in the sky....
There's nothing really of interest there musty, just franchisers waiting for the next order to bend over
Think you should leave it to the parties involved Superswan, it's their decision to make not ours. If they feel there's a need and a will to do it will be done. We sold out for every single game in the home end last season, so there is some merit of expansion. Though only if it doesn't hinder the other things needed at all.
Dai! You seem know more than most it seems. It would be a folly to expand the stadium at the cost of Premiership training facilities. I would say the same about my own club m8. You say you pay rent though I didn't realise that. What does your club pay?
valley its you that is saying we can do what we want with something we dont own so listen to your own advice..
