Actually that was one of his good decisions. He turned down Liam Rosenior and went and got Kyle Naughton who was the best right back in the league that year by a million miles

I heard a whisper Nigel is interested in Zak Whitbread from Norwich. His contract has expired and he has been told he isnt getting a new one

No you getting mixed up. Paulo Sousa had agreed terms with Rosenior and everything was done but Sousa got sacked just before the deal was completed. The deal was put on hold while until Sven took over. Sven took over and called off the Rosenior deal and went and signed Kyle Naughton from Spurs on loan. A few weeks later you signed Rosenior on a free.
