I would just like to make it clear. I am not indulging in "patter". I am merely telling you what you already know.

The club you supported no longer exists.

    Which one do you support?

The one with 54* or the one with 0?

So you're not even on the wind up? That's even worse.

"if we already know" then why are you here?...

Do you really want to go down the *'s road? Was a rather sore subject a few months ago

You seem confident that no titles will be stripped chapper, why do you believe that? Seriously.

The SPL seem to have wide range of punishment options open to them if it is proved Rangers did employ players through Dual Contracts.

The say they have a Prima Facae case, so is it that you think they will be found innocent or that the SPL/SFA will not punish them by actually taking honours away?

Because it is in places like this that a lie can take hold.
You should thank me for saving you from yourself.

Of course you agree that your club has gone the way of woolworths?

What was a sore subject with me?

If they are found guilty, the punishment wouldn't match the crime.

    Match fixing and bungs, yes.

I don't pride myself for know the exact facts that happened before I was old enough to know them first hand, nevermind two centuries ago.

Imagine my surprise at you lot knowing more petty unimportant information about rangers than rangers fans.

Give yourself a pat on the back, obsessive one.

Spartans were thrown out of the cup for incorrectly dating a player contract.

What punishment do you think would be fitting for a club who very deliberately played several players incorrectly registered in more than 700 games?

    700 games?

That's not even comparable. One, it was found out quickly and two, did they win the cup?

Marseille were stripped after winning for match fixing.

Not even close to the same crime.

    ("crime") btw

    Yes, 700 games.

I fully expect that Rangers will be found to have misapplied the EBT scheme.
I fully expect it to be demonstrated that for more than 700 games Rangers will have played played players who were incorrectly registered as the remuneration from the EBT scheme will not have been notified to the SFA.

I was not comparing the two breaches of the rules. I was highlighting to you the severity of the penalty incurred by Spartans for their failure to adhere to the rules after you had commented with regards to the possible penalties for fielding players incorrectly registered for more than 700 games.

I am asking a lot of questions but getting no answers in response.

Is this how this is going to work?

There is a wide range of punishments available for Rangers paying players outwith their contract contrary to association rules (should that be confirmed, and the SPL seem to think they have a case).

Neil Doncaster confirmed that stripping of titles is one of the punishments available.

What I find confusing is why the wait to declare the investigation findings and dole out any punishments until after the SPL vote? It's going to be a very uncomfortable wait.

Indeed, the SPL rules allow them (Unlike the SFA rules) to basically impose ANY punishment they see fit, transfer embargoes, title stripping etc.

Ah, the penny just dropped on why they're waiting till after the vote. We may not be in the SPL at all and I guess that would mean different sanctions.
