    Ha ha ha:

    Irish fans singing:

"we'll sing when we want, we'll sing when we want; **** you Roy Keane, we'll sing when we want"

    Just right!

I'm surprised people are still posting in this thread. Spain are so ****ing boring it surprises me that all of you haven't been sent to sleep yet by them.

Bastards, another round of being subjected to Spain controlling the game with pointless sideways passing forgetting to shoot for about 80 minutes of the game.

Mad Mario makes it 2-0 to Italy and Ireland are pretty much confirmed as the Euro's worst team of 2012.

To be fair; if Croatia had bloody took their chances it might have been different. Spain only looked like scoring when the game got string out with Croatia having to go for it.

They'll not have that luxury against teams in the knockout stages.

I know I sound mad but if England can get through the group & sit tight like they did against France; I could see Spain having the same problems they've had in two matches so far. Side ways side ways.....

That is what really annoys me in football, it has nothing to do with luck, last night att 0-0 germany should have had a penalty awarded against them for shirt pulling, stone wall pen, tonight everyones favourites the spanish who never foul, and who never kick lumps outs out of the opponents and are the puritans of the game. Well arbeloa has clearly fouled eduardo and then spain run up the other end and scored. How does this balance up, germany have not been denied a penalty and neither have croatia, it sucks

I know we have Carroll but if we can get Mandzukic for anything under 10 mil that would be good business. He is quite handy and a nice touch on him. How about Modric though? Spurs are really going to miss him next year.

    Tough on Croatia that :/

Navas clearly offside in first phase which clearly gives him the advantage for the second

Yet again the question has to be asked what the assistant referees standing 2metres away on the goal line are actually for?

Absolutely, but all the media will salivate over these two teams and they should both be out, last nights would have been a red aswell, i just wish soulpatch from 606 was on here now. I proper annoyed, those two extra refs are pointless

Ha ha Soul patch; such a Spanish loving tosser.

He still lurks on McNultys bbc blogs spouting his crap. He got a fair bit of abuse after the CL semis.

Agree with this. This 'phases' rule is ridiculous. It was part of the same attacking move, ergo he's offside.

By the way, how spawny is Casillas? Most of his saves are very poor, and he just gets lucky nobody is following the ball in. He can't catch for ****.

I was reading a good point about this quite a while ago. It was asking why more people didn't take advantage of this rule by just sliding balls behind the opposition full back to a really quick winger of yours and having your striker standing miles offside ready to have the ball squared to him for a tap in.

    Makes sense really...
