Would be a great signing, Gylfi, Lucas & Gerrard in a midfield 3 with Suarez Carroll & a new RW coming in would be a threat going forward.

Also just reading the bit on bbc website and Rodgers quoted saying

"I think there are a few players who can come in and improve the group straight away," Rodgers added. "I know the types of player I need to bring here to make us function well and that's something myself, the club and the board will look at.

"I know what we've got, more or less, in the squad, but I also know there are a couple of signings that could really improve what we do."

Looks like he has already got a few targets in mind so hopefully we can go and do the business quickly and get them in ready for pre-season.

He's a class player at a good price so won't surprise me if others want him...this is one deal we need to get sorted quickly <ok>

I suspect other clubs will be interest but that story on the gossip page is reported from caught offside <doh>

BRs at Swansea, Gylfi wanted by Swansea and is V close to signin for them with apparently no interest elsewhere.BR signs for LFC and and retains his interest in Gylfi and wants to bring him to LFC,and all of a sudden all the PL heavyweights are interested.Amazin how teams become interested in players once we are, well they are accordin to the media anyway
 
Loads of rumours with Borini as well today another player I like a lot,again his contract situation is awkward like Gylfi,sold to Parma by Chelski but loaned to Roma immediately and apparently was awesome for them and now in the Italy squad with calls for him to be the 1st 11 for 2moros match, and still very young ( get him signed up). Still not sure about Tello think hes a bit of a one trick pony myself,also Raul Garcia thinks that bull, cant see us goin for someone who Atletico deemed not good enough forr them last year and loaned out to Osasuna

Going by his tweets (I posted them above) it would suggest he intends to follow Brendon so probably <ok>

I've not seen much of him playing and so I don't know a lot a great deal about him but I have done a bit of reading and he certainly sounds impressive, especially being voted Player of the Season at Hoffenhiem having only played in thirteen games <ok>

PS - plus I've learn't how to spell his name now so he best join!!!! <grr>
