It goes to the score between the two teams. And in Italy's case they'll have drawn with both Spain and Croatia. But because Spain and Croatia would have had a "better" draw between each other by scoring 2 each, Italy would be told to sod off. Italy were on the receiving end of it in '04 when Slovakia and Denmark drew 2-2 and knocked them out.

I did watch I was looking ... he does not flow at all and his game is very easy to read ... he trys hard but that shouldn't be confused ... Class tonight? best player on the pitch and he was ****e was Ibrahimovic by a mile

The swedes played the better football without doubt but they lost to three excellent goals. I have fallen over many good players because i was on the pitch at the same time as them and am still proud of that
 
Well it's cup football from now on, and Greece won this playing hideous football, but the overall quality of todays game was awful and most of the football was ugly as well. If we get to the QFs it will be courtesy of a very weak group. Simply on form/ talent no chance of getting any further, but you never know.
 
England have played badly but the Italians mastered the art of being absolute ****e in the groups only to go on and win it but this is the worst English team in my life time.

The only hope is to avoid Spain by beating Ukraine hope the frogs cock up. Theres no way we will beat Spain or any other half decent side.

I have no wish for you to trust me at anything and I expect i will agree with some of your future posts and disagree with a few as well.

Having an extra ball is good training for the brain, the effort of counterbalancing all the extra activity down there, trains up the brain muscles and produces improved mental processes. Known fact messieur!

Your observations always intrigue me. You have a football mind like perhaps no-one else on this Blog. However, your consistency is non-existant. You're all over the shop sometimes.

I suppose its true what they say. There's a very fine line between genius and insanity.
