Don't rate Wellbeck as a player at all, but by god did he take that goal well. Great fighting spirit from England as Swords said above. Think Rooney will make one hell of a diff to that team. Crying out for scholes.

As I said, playing Jones or Jagielka there keeps it tight and then you can have Walcott play.

I dont see the point in playing a defender who cant defend and an attacker who cant attack when you can easily play a defender who can defend and an attacker who can attack!

I dont rate him either but whats going to happen for the next game, Wellbeck dropped, Carroll dropped or Rooney not starting?

England have a better record with Rooney not in the team too.

Fantastic save at the end, stood up and made himself big instead of crouching over. Dodgy on the 2nd goal though.

I think most agreed on that a few days ago! But Johnsen had a very good game tonight

Stan, you'll be held responsible if Flyer gets his head jammed in the door tonight.

Lets just hope Mrs Flyer has a tub of Vaseline close by.

In fairness Flyer, i have to agree. Walcott has to play. If Milner is only playing to protect Johnson then you're loosing one of your most creative players for nothing.

I don't. Playing a centre-half at right-back is asking for trouble. Walcott is a far bigger threat for half an hour at the end and Milner has played well twice now.

Both are recognised RBs so it shouldnt be a problem. Its not like playing Terry or Lescott there.

Spot on. Was like a prem game. None of that tippy-tappy **** that Liverpool and United fans who have never been north of Watford love.

Drop Young. Two matches, no penalty, what is he doing?

It's not but you're advocating playing a part-time right-back when we have a good enough one there. Johnson and Milner both played well and Walcott is most effective running at tired defenders so it makes sense to me to keep it how it is.

Well done England. Its important now to try top the group as Spain are to be avoided at all costs.

A Semi is not beyond you. That would be a decent Tournament considering how late the Manager came in.
