That's got to be a pretty dull decade you're having.

Do we get the Chelsea physio lady if AVB is next boss?

If so then sign him up Levy.

Nope, not so far, but watching him **** it up at Spurs would be a real highlight...I think someone already alluded to Ramos, they were spot on.

How to lose an entire dressing room in a year, by being a pretentious twat with short man syndrome!, he's just one of those blokes you can't take seriously, even if he's right, you just want to say 'oh just fuk off you arsehole!'. With Roman you never know how many players were his idea and not AVB's, so its hard to say it was his team, it certainly wasn't one he put together himself. Having said that, the same players have played better since, not pretty agreed, but a different manager has achieved more (through gritted teeth), a manager I would have considered worse than AVB.

Applying this simple logic says bad idea to me, I cannot think of a less appealing manager for our players, may aswell tell the key players to get their luggage down from the loft. :(

Others are mentioned like De Boer and a man called Rangkick or something who was in line for WBA. If they wanted him I think we should steer well clear. I'm going to contact Spurs and plead not AVB. I like De Boer,he was or is at Ajax so why not?

I wouldn't judge him on his time at Chelsea, as it seemed obvious to me that he was given a task to achieve and then not backed when he tried to do so.
The older players in the dressing room had too much power and they used it to bring in their own man, essentially.
It's worked out well for them, in the short term.

Hard to judge him on his time with Porto either, though.
His record there was excellent (over 88% win record), but you'd expect it to be.

The only way that I can see this as a possible appointment is if he's being brought in as part of a management team and the DOF role is making a comeback.
Our squad wouldn't pose the same problems that he had with Chelsea's, as we don't have a bunch of players that are his age and we're set up to play in his style already, but he wouldn't fill me with confidence.
I think that it might be a step back to try to take two forward, but I'm not convinced that we'd show the patience needed or that the current players would be appeased by installing him.

If this is true, Levy is developing a worrying appointment pattern of **** Manager, Good Manager, **** Manager, Good Manager etc...

    Santini, Jol, Ramos, Redknapp, ???

Ok ok, so it's only rumours but no smoke without fire. Practically every bookie has slashed their odds on this. It seems a little ominous. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Well, I would judge his time at Chelsea, perhaps we should ask why players at Chelsea got the hump. Continuously being played out of position in a system that didn't suit, that only highlighted weaknesses, just to prove a point would do it. Pathetic stunts like making Anelka train with the kids, and "oh please celebrate your goals with me" ....fack orf you tosser! :D

AVB doesn't fill me with confidence either but Chelsea have a habit of sacking managers just like that don't they? RDM is very much on trial and if results don't go well he'll be off before Christmas. Mourinho and Ancelotti did well for them and yet were booted out. So was AVB given enough of a chance? To me he's a cry baby but he was under enormous pressure at Chelsea hence the excuses for defeats.
