To be fair if your finding it boring to talk about transfer RUMOURS then i suggest getting of the transfer rumours thread
 
Guys....I know that things are quiet and you are bored but is it worth getting yourself taken off the site for? Just don't post if you have nothing to say about football. We understand that you would like something to happen but it isn't fair just to spoil a thread just because you feel like it. You have been warned!!!

The mods definitely take their "job" too seriously.......... Unfortunately we have to.........and we will do. We are not prepared to jeopardise the whole Saints site because a few of you choose to try and spoil things. We have hundreds of fans to cater for not just a few.

Worst nightmares!!!!

Just being released on twitter @ stokes end that we are finalizing on a deal for Upson!
I never rated him 5-6 years ago and now he is older,slower and even worse.
Hoping this is not true but as it's stoke's end one would think it might have legs?

Might be ok as cover but not a regular starter that I can see! oh by the way loving all this girly in house squabbling!

An experienced CB is what we need. However, I have been telling anyone who is willing to listen and a few that aren't, that Saints are not interested in ageing experienced pros but are trying to build an exciting young team. I hope Nicola isn't going to make me look daft!!
 
Upson was an England regular until recently, I think he could do a job for us, provided his wages are reasonable. Though as has been said, he probably wouldn't start every game.
 
Upson is very experienced and could be useful providing his attitude is right and his wages are reasonable. We don't want to make a habit of these sorts of signings, but a bit of experience here and there goes a long way.
