Not surprised by any of them, i may have fancied seeing Oli given a chance for us however if we get his wages off the bill and he goes to the PL at least he can't score against us and means we can bring someone extra in. I wouldn't have minded seeing Maca stay just on a lot less wages, and Garcia adds a bit of depth i think we may see him a couple of times before the end of the season!
happy to see garcia stay, think he can do well for us next season with a full pre-season, great right midfielder and stewart wont be fit for the start of the season, can cover other positions if necessary. wonder if we'd be so quick to ship oli out if he was on 15k!

What realistically do people think we would we get in combined transfer fees, for Kilbane, Atkinson, Bullard, Macca, Ghilas and Oli? 3 mil? Or am I being widely unrealistic, Oli must be worth 1.5, atkinson a couple of hundred grand. Mcshane id want 500k- 1 mil (not that hes worth it). Ghilas 500k. Bullard will no doubt go on a free as well as kilbane.

I for one will be sad to see Kilbane go. I always liked him and he got a lot of unfair stick. I'm happy that Garcia is getting a new deal, puts in 100% effort every game and can hold the ball up well.
As mentioned I don't think the club is too bothered by transfer fees, the wage bill is priority. But since we want Gerrard, recouping some money on Olofinjana even a million would be a bonus.
Belaid helped Slavia Prague win the Czech 1st division which should mean he has the talent to succeed at npc level. Our way of playing will be different fror him to adapt to. He needs, in my book to be given a free role. But I don't think NP has wanted to hand him this responsibility, something he should consider though.. a couple of full 90 mins for Tijani could prove his worth..
Thought they where all out of contract in the summer apart from Bullard and Olly. If that the case we don't get a fee for them do we? They are classed as free agents
That's exactly how I see it. Some people have said that Belaid hasn't done much, but I don't think he's been given much of a chance to do much either. I don't think he's disgraced himself on the pitch by any means, and given a chance to get involved in games properly, even as you say, starting; I think he'd show us what he's capable of.
Kilbane has a year left on his contract, Bullard, McShane, Ghilas and Oli all have two years(Atkinson, ***an, Garcia, Duke and Barmby are out of contract in the summer).
