In my opinion you need a spine down the team.

    Big CB
    Big CM
    Big ST

Then you have other players to play off them.

The players at the spine of the team need to be committed long term <ok>

Think RM is down the pecking order. We may get De Bryne on loan, but don't think any one permanent will come in after the Rodriguez signing.

    Indeed.

Fonte will be jizzed upon by Prem Strikers - they will tear him apart.

I think that Adkins will bring in a European/South American CB, Adkins likes to play out the back, so someone similar to David Luiz but far less risky would be ideal, he needs to be confident and quick on his feet but reliable. Strong in the challenge, hard to beat in the air, these are the qualities I would look for in a new CB.

That could be a good tactic you know. Indecent exposure and behaviour means the striker gets sent off and carted away by the Old Bill.

Jake, you've just come up with a revolutionary defensive tactic.

Main issue with Richardson is his fitness - we`ll only get half a season out of him, so a another RB is necessary. Can`t see Butters living in the Prem at his age.

I agree we need new players all across the back. I think our full backs are going to see a lot faster wingers this year and based on last season they are not going to handle it well. If we can play far enough forward to keep there wingers back then we could be ok with what we have. Not sure we can do that though.

Second this, I think we will see another 5-7 players come in yet.
GK, RB, X2 CB, X2 CM, X1 L/R M and maybe even another forward!

If we can get de bruyne in he will be extra handy as can play on the wing or as a central attacking midfielder! Like having 2 players for the price of 1!

More like the price of 1/2 seeing as he will playing for us on loan (if he does sign for us).
