Bristol City, Brighton, Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Wigan Athletic are all keeping tabs on Czech Republic and Galatasaray striker Milan Baroš
City's manager has made signing Keogh a priority, but the Robins face competition from Cardiff, who themselves had an undisclosed bid rejected by Coventry last week. McInnes has ruled out a player-plus-cash deal and is biding his time before going back in with an improved offer. City have been linked with a number of players as the transfer rumour mill gathers pace. But the club has denied reports suggesting they are interested in QPR striker Rob Hulse and Brighton right-back Inigo Calderon. McInnes did check on the availability of Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back George Elokobi, but is believed to have moved his search elsewhere.

08 Jun 2012 15:50:48 Bristol City are close to signing Pedro Roberto Silva Botelho from Arsenal The only complication is a work permit which is being sorted at this time?
He started off a bit slow because he hardly had any game time at Borussia Mönchengladbach but when he got up to speed, he was a huge threat. I'd have him back over Brady, and the amount of pace he has is unbelievable.
