Again, I agree. What i'd most like is for Nigel and Mills to kiss and make up. I could see him and Morgan really playing well together.
I would as I think Mills is a very good defender but I think too much has happened now for that to happen
Maybe there is still time for Beckford. If we struggle to sell him like I suspect we will maybe Nigel will have to use him. There isno good him rotting in the reserves Last season we had to put up with his laziness because there wasn't any decent back up. Now with awaghorn back and Vardy signed we have decent competition. With 7 subs again we can carry an extra striker and he would be a great option to bring on. He scored alt of goals in he last 20 mins of games last season If Nigel can't shift him then I think he would be a great option but he can't be allowed to carry on with his attitude
Do you really need me to answer that? Oh, go on then. We don't need the money, he's probably our best player, our owner doesn't like you, we've been assured no key players will be sold, he's worth more than that to us, we've just brought in an expensive manager to gain promotion and we won't do that selling our best players, how many reasons do you need?
3 million pounds. There is my reason. You think you owner is going to reject a £2.7m profit in a year and a half just because he 'doesn't like us'?
I don't think he'll reject it because it's you, I think he'll reject it because he has absolutely no intention of selling him, for all the reasons I've outlined(you know, the ones you've just completely ignored). You got Nugent on a free, would you think it was good business to sell him for £1m, just because it was more than he cost? Of course not. Now stop digging, you'll make a twat of yourself again, I suspect most of your fellow fans don't think there's a chance of Chester joining you for £3m either.
No, I wouldn't sell Nugent for 1m. Because he's probably worth more than that. You're not saying Chester is worth 3m when he didn't even get into the PFA team of the season for the Championship. You're over valuing your players and everyone does this because 'its Leicester, they have loads of money lets get as much from them as we can'. I'm not saying we will or will not sign him. But 3m will be a very good offer and in all honesty I can't see your owner and most importantly Bruce turning that down. I highly doubt Bruce will have a lot to spend and 3m for an above average Championship centre half will be very good business.
You're completely missing the point, I'm not valuing our players at anything, I'm saying that Chester is not for sale, it doesn't matter what you think he's worth or what his market value is, the fact is that our owner thinks it's very important that Chester remains a Hull City player. As a consequence, he will.
I don't understand why some Leicester fans would want Chester. We were told last season that Chester would be a squad player at best because Leicester's defenders were so much better.........
You're completely missing my point. I'm not saying whether Chester will or won't leave and whether he is or isn't worth 3m. I'm asking whether your owner will think of it as a very good offer (which it will be, no Championship defender should be worth that much) or whether he thinks he wouldn't be able to reinvest the money well enough. Also depends on what money Bruce gets and whether he has a 'war chest' or he buys with the money he brings in. Questions, questions, questions. Only time will answer them. Too old for that division now. There are reasons why WBA released him.
