I can't watch the guy , please tell me I'm not the only one , I don't understand how he has that job , do the people at ITV think he's doing a good job ? I don't get it

He's so boring, he's a WBA fan and his accent is a joke so no you're not the only one who thinks he's an idiot

I remember making a similar thread (about a year ago mind, maybe last years' CL final) and the general consensus was that none of us could stand him and that he needs to get the **** away from football <ok>

I'm more stunned that he was smashing Bleakley. And it wasnt a tab rumour, I have a mate who was head of BBC Business news and he knows the pair of them, said they were defo at it.

I must be missing something when it comes to football media outlets. I've no problem with Chiles, or RH, I don't even mind the fat guy announcing before games at the KC. I actually think Chiles made MOTD2 much better than it is now since he left. 2 good 2 bad used to be awesome and I watched til the end to see it, but now I never watch beyond the last match.

I think ITV think they made a mistake by bringing him in as they knew that it was a mistake to have him on Daybreak but I am not sure what their thoughts are on him hosting matches.

If I was in charge of ITV sport, I'd hire Richard Keys. Sexism or not regardless, he was an excellent presenter for Sky on Premier League and Champions League games. Much better than Chiles, Linekar, etc.

I don't mind chiles either. To be honest I don't care enough to have an strong opinion either way but I don't mind him.

I was listening to Radio 5Live during the last world cup and they were interviewing Terry Butcher and Chiles came up in the conversation. He said he despised him and would like to 'destroy him'.

I'm with Terry on this.

I have a (long) list of people I'd like to harm and Chiles is on it, along with the student gimp on the BT ads, Peter Levy and Robert Peston

How could you miss Chris Moyles and James Corden off that list? Ive lost all respect for you.

Like i said, it's a long list.

Those named were just a sample, though to be fair i've managed to avoid pretty much anything with Corden in and stopped listening to Radio 1 when Mark & Lard were axed and never watch E4 or Dave, so Moyles ain't an issue.

hes a bit busy doing a great job on talksport every morning with andy gray ... the minute they joined the minute talksport became a good daytime radio station (owned by sky .? ... who would have thought ;) )
