Five and ITV are a stain on society. They just commission an endless conveyor belt of **** which I'd happily double my BBC licence fee to not watch.
Five are comissioning the Walking Dead for terrestrial viewers mind.
I know I already have the US Bluray and saw the episodes on FX, but that's a canny show.
They also showed Sons Of Anarchy on their US channels.
Channel 5 are desperate is all I can say, I mean this a channel who has Jim Rosenthal presenting football and Stan Collymore as a main pundit.
:Argh! My mam's calling me a snob because they offered to buy me an old runaround for now (at least ten years old & one they were looking at was a 306 that had been lowered, heavily tinted windows and lexus lights :/), when I said I'd rather have the money to put towards a car that's newer (around the age my Clio was when I got it).
Just the way I see it there's no guarantee the old runaround wont be riddled with problems and at least a newer car is less likely too.
I can make do without for now and skimp & save, hopefully will have a job by the summer too, so maybe could even afford a new car.
I've already got a grand in savings myself that I was planning on using for a new Macbook pro while I still get the cheap uni student discount, so if they gave me the money they were going to spend on the old runaround I could put a hefty deposit down on a new car as well.
