It's valuable contributions from moronic, ignorant twats like you, that make this forum such an enjoyable place!
It's not up to me as a fan to say who the next manager should be. It's up to me to criticise the current one. All of you weak minded scared little people who are afraid to get rid of Harry to all of you I say: Pathetic! Stop hiding, stop your timid, let's keep what we have mentality. TO DARE IS TO DO! That means we have to aim for the highest and not settle for this loud mouth, I know best, almost there, Manager. Get your best Spurs head on and let's get rid.
Well as someone who exercised my right to cast a vote in favour of our current manager, on an open debating site, I now find it rather disappointing to see a moderator come along and call me 'weak minded' and 'scared' and also 'pathetic'. Quite frankly, this is an issue which has been done to death on here anyway with the same people saying the same things time after time. Opinions are divided and there are strong feelings coming out of both the pro-Harry camp and the anti-Harry camp. But please, don't let's have a moderator start calling people weak minded, scared and pathetic because they happen to think Harry deserves to remain manager.
Spurcat I take your point and what I am saying is tongue in cheek. The fact is most spurs fans want Harry to stay so your case is strong. Those of us on the opposing side have to put our case a little stronger because we are in the minority. At the end of the argument we are all Spurs fans and want the best for the club but you have accept that this will always lead to differing views. Your support for Harry is well known and understood. The fact that I am a Moderator should not and does not prevent me from expressing a view. Harry after all has never been backward in coming forward in this area. This is a forum for debate. Debate requires differing views.
And just to be clear. Spurs are closer to the brink of greatness than they have been since the 1960's. For me it is sad that we should finally arrive at this point again only to have a man in charge who falls way short of Bill Nich in so many ways. In some ways I hope Harry does not achieve much more than he already has, because in no way IMO does he deserve to be bracketed with Bill Nich.
Fair enough Spurf. Thanks for a civilsed response. I don't know how this is all going to pan out. Harry apparantly is asking for another 3 years, which i don't think he will get. Yet, if Levy leaves things as they are currently are and enters the new season with Harry on 12 months left, then I think he's naive and asking for trouble. My money would be on Harry getting a 12 month extention to his current deal.
I would think that is the sensible option Spurcat and I have the utmost respect for Levy. I also have great respect for you and your views, it is not often that I find myself on the opposite side but in this case we are. Time will tell as you say and we will both hope that it pans out for the best for Spurs.
Considering the minor fact that your club were considerably snubbed by Paul Lambert, shortly before he took the Aston Villa job, you're in no position to pass comment on potential managerial appointments.
Are we in the minority? I have spoken to a lot of Spurs fans (there are quite a few in my family, for a start), and I don't know of a single one that hasn't put a question-mark against Redknapp. I'd say that those who display nothing but blind and unquestioning loyalty are the ones in the minority. Not to mention being more than a little suspect.
I would suggest that someone whose sole use of this site appears to be to abuse Liverpool FC might be reasonably seen as 'more than a little suspect'. Of course there are question marks about Harry, I haven't seen anyone suggest there aren't, so try and wind your neck in for once in a while and accept there are some of us out here who actually strongly disagree with you and will continue to exercise the right to say so without being insulting.
What with yours being the opinion that I care least about on this forum, you might well deduce that I really could not give a flying toss that you consider me to be a little suspect. In fact, now that I think about it, I'm glad you do. Thanks. You can say what you want, pal. Occasionally, I even find your ITK insights mildly amusing.
Who have you seen with blind unquestioned loyalty? please name, based on what aswell, otherwise its an empty statement meant to antagonise imo. I ask because I haven't seen any myself. I've seen plenty in a 'better the devil you know' camp, who aren't blinded by ludicrous optimism of an unaffordable, unrealistic replacement who just ain't coming to little old Spurs with money restraints and no CL.
The comment (contrary to Spurcat's paranoia) was not necessarily aimed at any particular participant on this forum. I cannot help it if some take offence at the suggestion. They are, after all, merely words.
Your comments have been duly noted and confirm what I have always thought about you and that is you care more about other clubs than you do about Spurs. Your posting history goes a long way to confirm this observation. This, makes you really 'suspect' imo, and i know I am not the only one on here who thinks this. So stop calling us genuine fans names, because we do actually know our stuff which is more than you can ever say about yourself. Stick to slagging off Liverpool sunshine and leave the Spurs talk to those of us who know what we are talking about.
The old "you're not a real Spurs fan because you dare to see things differently to me and my special cliche of friends" taunt! I am cut to the quick. Yep. That's my reputation ruined. How shall I ever be able to show my face on this board ever again?
Oh dear. Go back through the thread, and if you're bright enough, you'll see it was YOU who first brought into doubt the question of being a real fan by calling us 'suspect'. Your reputation on this board was gone long before I arrived, so feel free not to show your face on here again.
I wasn't referring to any posters paranoia really, just wondered who you meant, ok, so you were generalising, but why are they suspect?...of what?
