On Sky, Italy may pull out of Euro 12 because of corruption charges (won't happen). Apparently, this corruption may have been going on for 10 years. I'm sure that you might get the odd player in England involved in some betting scam, but I still think that it would never become widespread. Think it's not in our sportsmen's psyche.
If Denmark and Greece can win with not so squads so why cant we? For a change the media give us no chance of winning this.So that means we will now go and win it. Ladbrookes for today only are giving 16/1 to win the Euros.......i have had a cheeky punt.
Cahill and Terry being scanned etc, should know tomorrow if they're fit to go to the Euro's Terry has a hamstring strain getting looked at. Cahill has had a scan on his jaw.
I'm not expecting much. It'll make the inevitable disappointment of losing on penalties to Germany that much easier to bear... That said, it cannot be any worse than the abject showing at the 2010 World Cup...can it?
Madness. Not Ferdinand? Richards? Walker? Hodgson's selection has been very questionable, but I still rate him very highly as a tactician and man manager.
Doesn't he have to use the players he already put on his reserve list? Still proving a shocking decision not to take Ferdinand, as I said at start!
Think Walker is injured and would have gone. Are these injuries just bad luck or do we push them too hard in training?
Yes, there was no need for that stupid shove. I wasn't impressed by Mertens' behaviour at all in that friendly, at one point he went down and rolled over in a manner that would have embarrassed Jurgen Klinsmann. And now, thanks to him, there's another English player out of the Euros.
He's also had some shocking games! Lescott has been consistently impressive, and is also left footed which would bring more balance. He was fantastic against Spain too
