Was McNally the one who also hired Sanchez at Fulham? If he was, I hope he has since lost his contact details
i'd just worry that it would be a very steep learning curve if that is the way we decide to go...that said i'd get behind it... him turning down villa was really strange in itself - offering the reason of his family as his non interest, but he'd have talked that over well before he considered meeting up with them...
He was certainly the one who sacked him. Not sure he appointed him as I think originally he was caretaker manager?
Apparently several influential financial backers of Molde kicked up a stink and threatened to withdraw funding if he left. This could be why?
Don't think anybody from abroad would be sensible or realistic option to be honest with you. We need a British manager who knows the Premier League at this moment in time.
I agree I can't see it happening but you never know. In many countries the PL is considered the best and a very attractive option for many managers. I agree we almost certainly will stay with a British based manager though
The best option seems to be Hughton or Poyet, I suspect you might end up with Fathead Bruce - but for everyone else's sheer comedy value I'm wishing its Megson.
You neglected to mention he did all this after losing 12 of our squad which included 4 strikers in Bellamy, Bothroyd, Chopra, Emmanuel- Thomas and also our best winger Burke, and replaced them for next to nothing.
à ge Hareide is the man for you guys. Experienced International Manager, and good ol Norwich boy, looking to follow Woy's footsteps from Viking Stavanger to the PL!
I would be quite happy with Robinson, certainly the right type of young hungry manager we should look for.
