Funny how only 1 hour after i tell you he is unhappy he walks out? Actually i put 2 and 2 together and i got 4 where as from what i remember you saying, it was you that got 192? i dont need to gloat about being right i am man enough to say i was wrong when i am but are you? As for QPR and MH i think we will now kick on. you never know we might poach an unhappy Holt.
I would put that down to poetic license Not sure about you Hampy but I have never seen anyone on this board (other than PC's write ups) compare us to Barcelona in the last few years
Isn't that exactly what we were when he left Col Who? This was always going to happen at some point. We all knew it deep down. Shame we couldn't have held on to him for another year or two though. I completely understand his reasoning as per my op here http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/145367-Paul-Lambert-my-view Good luck to him and lets make sure our next manager is just as successful.
I find it hard to take anything you guys say seriously whilst you're still all posting about this being a 'sideways move' Roy Keane is looking for a job
TRAFFIC ALERT - Carrow rd bridge has been closed due to the large amount of norwich fans waiting to jump off it, also all trains from norwich have been cancelled due to people on the line! just got a price on fat cheating **** joining Villa, and its odds on!
I think the 'sideways move' aspect is looking at where they currently are and not where they were 20+ years ago. Yes there is potential at Villa but there is equal potential at Norwich now too. I really do not see Villa as being any bigger than Norwich, right here, right now.
Thing is, you binners can come on here and take the piss all you like, we all know deep down that there is not one of you who would not immediatly swap places with Norwich right now. There is not one of you who would not love to be a premier league club who have just (possibly) had their most successful manager in years poached. There is not one of you who wouldn't want to swap an exciting season in the prem with a new manager and new direction for your 'same old' season in the chumpionship.
villa are a bigger club, no question. could be massive. they are miles off that at this stage though. it's not sideways, more up a notch and i think most people are confused by the current state of villa. i had them as favourites for relegation next season - even with lambert i may not change that prediction. depends on who he can bring in. it appears he may have to sell to buy too. that's why it appears to be sideways even if it isn't. i just think its less about who he is leaving and who he is going to and more that he felt he needed a change of scenery
Thats the biggest load of crap i have ever heard, Norwich main aim for an ok next season is to stay up again, Villa aim for an ok season is a top ten finish! thats says everything about the size and difference of the clubs.
although i agree that villa are bigger guru, what you have posted is crap too! norwich are aiming for top half just like villa but BOTH clubs will be aiming for survival first and foremost. villa are a poor, poor side at the moment and the fact they are a bigger club with more potential doesn't change that aspect. they are a very weak side who require immediate and wholesale improvement
yes, and having it rammed down our throats about how your manager and players love the club and the fans so much, and yet it goes to show that the first sniff of a move upwards and they are off like a shot because your little club is small fry and you are only a stepping stone to everybody, just like us! do you honestly believe that this will mean that your best players will stay now, Lambchop or any other club will snap them up like a shot because the belief has gone!
For what it is worth, I think Villa is just a stepping stone to bigger things in the same way Norwich was. As a sucessful Norwich manager he is unlikely to get offered one of the truely 'big' jobs. We are just not recognised enough in the media for that. If he is successful at Villa who are a much higher profile club then he might.
Lambert has quit Norwich to force a move to Aston Villa. Really surprised at this to be honest. Thought he had a good thing going with Norwich. The Aston Villa job has been something of a poisoned chalice over the years.
Thanks for saying this as there is something that has been playing on my mind for a few weeks or so now... You really do talk a load a ****e when you come on here so it might just be the right time to add you to my ignore list as you have proved beyond any doubt that you either have no idea what you are talking about or are just a serial wum with a poor attitude towards anything about our club
You have to rebuild, your best players will be cherry picked by Lambert and the others will get cold feet. the premier league isn't the place to have to rebuild your club!
