I just don't understand how a country that has a passion for football and a 100-yeat-old league can be so laughingly bad at it historically (rather like England too with all its stars and money).
Countries of a similar size... Uruguay, Denmark, Peru, Paraguay, Morocco etc... have all done very well in World Cups and Euros. Why not Scotland?
For a country with a population of 50 Million people why are the only goalkeepers England produce so prone to ****ing up and being generally ****ing useless.

Agree. Should be more than World Champions more than once with all the money behind us.
Amazing that footballing great nations like Spain and England have only been champions once each.

Absolute pish, its all about money nowadays.
Notts Forest are ahead of you ya ****in spanner. They were proper champions.
Because we're Scottish and that's what we do. We're ****e at everything, even the things we are good at, we are ****e at them too. We gave the world the TV and telephone and we ****ed them up and had to give them to the US and Japan to try and make them better, we discovered penicillin by default and had to give to the Germans to develop. We gave the world Adam Smith and had to give him to England because he was too clever for us. We turned round the fortunes of Japan by introducing our Industry to them only for them to ransack our Far East colonies some 40 years later, we had the worlds biggest bank and we know how that went. We moved, en-masse to the Ulster plantations to try and enlighten the masses, only for that to go spectacularly wrong, 300 years later and they're still bitching with the indigenous folks, and some of the ****s came back with the indigenous Irish and they unleashed Celtic on us poor Scots.
Oh well, things can only get better eh?
