Never heard of him, but then again I hadn't heard of Hooiveld or Tadanari either.
 
Completely agree, would just prefer players that can make an instant impact.

Not another Tim Ream (Bolton), hyped up and got relegated... <whistle>

It will be July before we sign anyone I reckon.

Players and staff will be enjoying their holidays. <ok>

I don't think you can really blame Tim Ream for Bolton going down!

Late June perhaps, but I agree that we won't see much for a while.
 
I would be suprised if we havnt signed anyone before the Liebherr cup, or else whats the point in having a pre season if half the team havnt signed for us yet?

I know it was tongue in cheek anyway, but he's just moved from Leverkusen to Hoffenheim so he'll be going nowhere this summer.

As for Bas Dost, he's had a great season but that doesn't make him a great player. Nasri had a good season at Arsenal a few years ago and he's turd.

Yep, looking at what we can find online, Liebherr Tournament is definitely July 14th. Team off to Switzerland and playing 2 teams, one is FC Lucerne between 19th of July and 9th of August?

So I imagine we will seek to get majority of new boys in, for the ML Cup, then off to Switzerland for the final preps before returning to Champneys.

Nasri is class, a money grabbing turd but a class one as well.
 
Yakubu anyone? Says he has played championship football before and doesn´t want to play there again.
I know he is similar to Lambert but I rate Yakubu very highly. He scored 17 premier league goals last season for a poor Blackburn side (joint 4th top goal scorer in the league).
