Taken fom William Hill.

11/8 Man City
5/2 Man Utd
9/2 Chelsea
6/1 Arsenal
25/1 Tottenham
33/1 Liverpool
125/1 Newcastle
250/1 Everton
750/1 Fulham
1000/1 Sunderland

The gap between us and the dippers is unreal! They don't even have a manager yet FFS!

If they called me Paddy, my odds would be Man City 1/5, Man Utd 1/4, 1000/1 bar.

I'd be surprised if football made it out of this next phase alive.

Seriously, though, these odds are designed to get scousers to part with their hard earned benefits. If you give them their true odds of 250/1 even they'll start to realise how **** their club is. Makes me laugh at how everyone's now routing for Carroll, a player they couldn't get enough of deriding for 8.8 months of a 9 month season. Can't wait to see him drive us to Euro 2012 glory......

I wonder what odds they'd give us to finish above the dippers if we asked for some? I'd take some no matter what it was.

Seems fair to me. Especially after Liverpool showed last summer that we had owners who were willing to back the team heavily in the transfer market.

Uh huh, and how has that been working out for you so far

That's not really relevant - The manager they had before was a guy with no idea about modern football, the same as Keegan when we brought him back. If they get anyone at least half competent in then they'll probably be finishing above us. Unfortunately.

i would say these odds are fair. Yes liverpool had a poor season but no doubt they will spend silly money in summer and with a better manager should be looking to rise.

We on the otherhand are known to be a selling club and could easily lose are top players hence us with the lower odds.

Liverpool are a big price at 33/1 considering that this is their year.

Watch me get proved totally wrong but I think Martinez will do a solid enough but unspectacular job. I expect a marginal improvement for them this year. We sould plummet also but if we make a few more astute signings I wouldnt think it likely

It's again due to ignorance though.

Like Skybet and everyone saying we'd go down because we sold our "best players" last season, they didn't look at the whole picture.

No doubt if we lose a couple of our best players this season, they'll again pay no attention to who we sign in their place or study our team properly.

It will just be "oh they sold Tiote and Ba well that's them ****ed for the season".

If it was who has the best odds to win the title over the next few years, then I might kind of agree with those odds, but next year? Nope. Sorry.

The new manager will have to settle, their squad is vastly over rated.

Suarez is class but they have players like Downing, Adam, Spearing, Agger, and Gerrard who are all far too over rated.

Liverpool have a great team, and those players, whilst overhyped are still great, but they have a 7th placed team at best at the moment.

They certainly don't have a better chance of winning the title next season than us. I expect them to be in the mix for a top 4 spot, but I don't see why they'd be higher favourites than us to get one.

They have to play in the Europa League just as we do, so we'll have the same burden of extra matches, and we have a better team that can only get better due to our manager, coaches and fantastic scouting system.

I'm not claiming to be able to see the future, but I find it really quite funny how people still write us off.

Liverpool are a bigger club with a bigger transfer budget... and? Means **** all, as we've proven this season.

We get 50k attendance averages, we're making good profit, we sign sensibly, have the best scouting system in the league.

We're not a selling club, we're playing hard ball when it comes to transfers, and we're only accepting massive offers for players, or we're weighing up the value of the player and how we can replace him with the cash we could get. We've got a sensible system.

Yes we do have a sensible system but liverpool dont so they are like a hit and miss team....

and the bookies are just safeguarding themselves just in case liverpool end up hitting the jackpot after splashing 100 million just like city did :p

Ah sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you thought it was fair that they had better odds to win the title, not that you understood why williamhill would make such odds on pure ignorance and stupidity.

Obviously bookies trying to cover their backs, but they should really put more thought into it. But I guess it doesn't matter, it will be one of the two manc clubs winning it again.

Uh huh, and how has that been working out for you so far

May I remind you that we were above you before we had the blow of losing Suarez for 9 games on top of Lucas already being injured.

Then things started falling apart. That was with us mostly spending the money on the wrong players in the summer and you having two near perfect transfer windows with Cisse, Ba and Cabaye signings.

Having Suarez and Lucas for more games next season, barring a silly injury for either of them, will be a boost in itself. All we need is some intelligent additions in attacking areas and we'll be in with a shout of the top 4 position. Don't think we'll be anywhere near the title but either will Spurs if reports are to be believed and Modric wants out but they're still up there. Its just bookie bollocks trying to tempt people into putting money on things. And no one is going to put money on Newcastle at 33/1 or something who have a reputation of selling key players and haven't won a trophy for 50 odd years so they've made their odds bigger in attempt to get people having a bit of money on them as an outside bet.

Lucas is a good player, but he was average up until his last game before he got injured, then he got in team of the week and everyone was ****ing over him. He's not that good.

Suarez - Tough ****ing ****. Coming out with bullshit excuses saying racism in his country isn't a big deal so it shouldn't be here.

We had plenty injuries this season, and won a fair few games with a team near full of fringe players.

And the thing about not winning a trophy in 50 odd years and all that... whatever!

If people are going to look at history to decide who's going to win the title, and put on a stupid bet, then the bookies know how to exploit the ignorance of the common punter.

1st sentence is ridiculous.

2nd sentence is ignorant.

3rd sentence I'm not sure about because I'm not a massive follower of Newcastle but I'll let you have it.

4th setence is a nothing sentence.

5th sentence leads me to believe you must be related to Einstein. Can't believe no one had noticed that before you did just now.
