the main difference is they make stuff up and I usually quote newspaper articles. (I know you can't always trust the daily record) OK the BBC thing was different but they tried to claim the precedent for what rangers did was marseille being stripped of their title for bribing other teams to lose so that they could win the league to get into the CL and then bribing champions league teams to get to the CL final. Marseille had their league title (rightly) stripped but the UEFA site still shows them as CL winners that year. How can anybody see bribing other teams to let you win being the same as paying some of your players a bit extra.
We make things up !!! We've both gone on how corrupt Scottish football has been for the last 20 years , spot on I would say . We also both go to the games unlike 90% of the Rangers posters on , I would go as far to say I've been to Ibrox more than the majority of them 70/80 times .
A bit extra? They paid the players money through offshore tax avoidance schemes and used second contracts to HIDE these extra payments. Rangers would otherwise not have been able to afford the players they had, some call that "Financial Doping", most just call it what it is, cheating. Marseille CHEATED, so did Rangers by the looks of it.
and now the taxman http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/2012/05/26/rangers-in-crisis-preferred-bidder-charles-green-says-he-s-done-a-deal-with-taxman-86908-23873933/
Sloppy journalism from the Record when they can't even get Green's status right in the headline. Green entered into an irrevocable agreement to buy the club and by-passed the need to be named preferred bidder.
Don't upset Harry, he's the only certified nutjob we have left. I read with sadness this morning that super will be taking a 1 month break from the site.
