When we used to give Whitehead stick after the game in the pub and much more vociferously than I do in forums.
One of my mates loved him thought he couldn't put a foot wrong pointed out Whiteheads passing stats from previous games.
No matter how much we tried to explain most of those passes were hospital balls a couple of yards to somebody already marked flew over his head.

Whitehead wasn't a very good footballer , yes he tried but he was still ****.

Henderson IS a very good footballer and I'm absolutely ****ing sure he can move faster than that jog he does.
It sometimes looks as though he actually doesn't want to reach the ball or make a tackle.

I still have nightmares about whitehead going through on goal against Villa i think it was and passing the ball back to the keeper when it could have got us a point in our 15 point season.

We should go for Samba, N'Zog, Rodallega and a left back.

Keep all the loan lads (including Sulley)

We'd be ok.

A left back and N'Zogbia, and we suddenly have balance, and are less one-d going forward.

I hope the reports were true that we were signing him at the end of the season and had agreed a deal in Jan, remember Jeff Stelling in August saying he was on his way up here for talks?

I hope Wigan stay up too or else he will be bought on the cheap by a tottenham who dont need him but will get him anyway.

Wigan are gone mate, if Tottenham did nick in, then we go get Kranjkaer.

He's right footed, but better on the left, and a good crosser with both.

He's quality.

theyve got **** fixtures and i would like to think our main selling point to Zog is working with Bruce because nearly all the players say positive things about him, bar a certain Wanna-be Argentine full back.

I like your thinking on Sess against Robinson (an old fashioned they shall not pass stopper) BB!

What I would like is Brucey to take Sess to one side explain about Robinson and tell him to take the piss out of him with drag backs and the like. Forget about all else for the first 10 minutes and just run at Robinson none stop.
Robinson will bite guaranteed yellow card first 10 minutes and SEss and Sully got free rein down the right.
May not be sporting, **** that, if he bites he bites. <ok>

whats not sporting is Marcelo celebrating when he got crouch sent off, whatever we do is legal and totally fair compared to that!

**** sporting MR, if Robinson gets a cheap yellow so be it.

By right Sess should tear him so many arseholes his mrs will think he's brought a litter of kittens home.

I don't even know what that means. Not sure I want to.

If i was picking the midfield for Saturday, Jordan wouldn't be in it.

I'd play Sulley on the right, allowing him to cut inside and shoot, he'd be against Robinson(?), a truly woeful player.

Catts and Zenden/Steed in the middle, and Sess on the right, again encouraging him to cut inside and shoot.

This cuts down on quality crossing chances, but we never ****ing score from crosses anyway, so it's a dead rubber.

Ball on the deck, decent ball retention in the middle with Bolo or Steed, we need to try something else, why not this?

I Like!! <ok> You're a better tactition than Brucey! Send an email to him ASAP quoting this formation and line up, I'll back you up if he comes looking for you! <whistle>

I certainly would never slag Henderson off. However, I do feel he is going through a torrid spell and is in need of a rest.

Though Henderson almost certainly will play, I hope he doesn't. He needs a confidence boost. It's a bit like when Quinn joined us, at first, if I recall correctly, he was ****. But, the supporters got behind him, and he improved to become one of the greatest legends this club has ever seen. That's the main reason why he started loving this club, because he was given a chance by the supporters and not shot down. If a swap deal with Henderson for Welbeck I would take it, but that's unlikely. We should try and keep him; I've a gut feeling he'll come good and regain his form.

Stop knocking the team, and Jordan, especially.Put the lad in his rightful position....right wing!!! A good win over West Brom will stop all the negative posts and keep us safe!!

I understant this post, but dont agree with some of the replys, Henderson is learning his trade, if he is not one hundred percent, mentally or pysically ready to play. then the manager must substitute him. I see good signs in the lad, Bruce is expecting too much too soon IMO. this is the same manager who says he does not want pressure on his youngans when he farms them out.

Bruce should rest Henderson, boy is ****t, play a team in position, too hard Bruccie? ideas gone? EXIT STAGE DOOR LEFT
sick of nice talk for the media, put it on the field, or please **** off, my patience is running out.

I think that's spot on - shall I give Steve a call?
