We are always going to lose the ball up top. Ward doesn't cope when he gets pushed out wide and is too slow to cover the full backs. Also disagree that Bennett is replacement for whitbread, more replacement for when de laet went. If we don't get another centre half a will be worried next season. I think to rely on Bennett, Martin and ayala is quite risky. I don't think ward and barnett fit the system unfortunately.
 
I liked how Lambert said the other day that "everywhere" is a priority for strengthening. Obviously we aren't going to buy a new team but expect some quality aquisitions in the coming weeks for all the places we have been talking about...

lambert is right too! every single position is up for strengthening. the only position we look really strong in is keeper - not many would have said that at the beginning of last season! i like the intent he is showing with regards the summer transfers - sounds like there could be 5+ new faces if he wants improvements in every department <ok>

Think another masterstroke by Lambert was having Rudd and Steer fighting out for number 2, a lot of people including myself were thinking bring someone in with experience to help Ruddy out (Like Crichton did with Green) and sent them two out on loan. But Steer and Rudd have been fantastic when they have played and filled in brilliantly when they have had to. I don't think they'll be far off England team 2014 if they keep up their progress.

Funny how often your reminded how good Lambert is.

lol could not be bothered to vote, I am just waiting with anticipation as to who Lambo is bringing in to replace Zak, the fact he let him go so quickly must mean he has another Ryan Bennett about to board the good ship Canary

Probably because the poll is worded badly, there should be a 3rd option that says not a priority but get him if we can. As there isn't that option anyone that would like to see him back is going to vote yes aren't they? <doh>

I want to see him back but I voted no.
 
I've heard from a fairly reliable source that we've already 'signed' the following -
Curtis Davies - Centre half - Brum
Didier Ya Konan - Centre Forward - Hannover 96
Dani Pacheco - Attacking midfielder - Liverpool

Bridcut for Crofts + money

Also heard that one of Morison or Holt will be on his way, due to 'personal reasons'

So Morison and Holt have personal problems but only one of them is leaving? <confused>

No offence, but 3 posts and posting this is on your third is pretty suspicious, are you trolling?
