That fella Grier supposedly knew about Ticketus and that they were to be used for working capital. The admin have stated that they knew about Ticketus but not that they were to be used for the buyover.

It's not about hiding it. It's about whether the EBT's were used correctly or not. HMRC are adamant they weren't.

I never once said Rangers hid the EBT's. However, Celtic paid TAX on our EBT. Rangers did not.

Having read this thread there wasn't anything important we didn't already know or had heard about?

Hardly a surprise there is a "conflict of interest" accusation is it? Whyte went into overdrive to get them appointed before HMRC appointed an administrator for us.

Was listening to the news on the way in this morning and this was the only thing reported. D&F are threatening to sue <laugh>

They interviewed some expert who said that there is no precedent in Scotland for an administrator being removed, although it's happened a couple of times in England & Wales.

Apparently no easy or straightforward way to get shot of them.

They either have to go today or provide proof they had no knowledge of the Ticketus deal being used to fund a takeover.


So basically they have to quit today. It's a disgrace if the authorities in this country don't step in to sort this out. Whyte/D&P are wholly untrustworthy now.

Speculation only, but I wonder if Rangers would be either sold or in progress of becoming a Newco if the HMRC administrators had got in back in March?

How much have D&P held the administration process back?

At least Celtic fans aimed their protests at the right people when our club was in a mess.

Eh? Who is deflecting/denying?

Mibby ahm dumb but as far as I know nothing of any significance that wasn't known/suspected and/or being currently investigated was revealed?
 
My dad said he went off Rangers when Murray took over. He always used to bad mouth him and warn me about what he was doing in the 90s. He was aware of what he was like. He became kind of obsessed with dishing dirt on him to me and my brothers. We never knew any better and usually ignored him and just enjoyed the success.

I got the ultimate 'told you so' this morning :(

you're not dumb, but don't take medro's word as gospel on it.

It's definitely worth a watch. Watterus was FORCED to accept an EBT. That's just one thing that wasn't known before.

There were many others.
