would people be happy with lee clarke

pretty impressive record at hudds.

wasnt it just 3 losses in 56 games or something before he got sacked?

I wouldn't be happy with Lee Clark. Mate of mine who supports Hudders reckons he'd be okay with a big budget, otherwise forget it for reasons stated by others on here; No promotion (despite long unbeaten run) + no Championship experience. No evidence that he could attract the sort of players we need + before others talk about Jordan Rhodes I would be very surprised (but happy) to see him in a city shirt.

If he gets the job I will support him 100% - but I will also settle for a mid-table finish now

@bbcburnsy I'm hearing Allams definitely want Holloway. Are you hearing the same? #hcafc

@Greg_Whitaker I know someone who knows someone. But the info has been right before. #hcafc

Thoughts?

Why would holloway come though? he's represented Blackpool for a while now and unless he's unhappy with things there then I don't see why he'd come to be honest, it's not like we're gonna pay him loads with a massive transfer budget.

But I would definitely like him here

God no, I'd rather have Pearson back.

Just had txt saying get your money on Clark quick, dont trust it to be right but checked odds anyway and not worth putting on at pretty much evens.
My mate (who does get the odd bit of info) is prob just out on the piss chatting to some other pissed bloke and not inside info at all just pure pissed speculation - but thought Id share it before I hit the sack

Holloway? The only bloke that could give Brownie a run for his money in the media quote stakes?

Actually I'd like him because he'd annoy so many of you, these forums would be funny after each match.

According to Burnsy, it is deffo NOT Bruce btw Nishy. Just saying. Respected local journo etc.

Cheers, think I won't bother betting on it anyhow even if Burnsy might have got it back to front as usual, as for Clark, got to give the lad a chance if he comes but would be a bit underwhelmed if he got the job

i need to make a token bet on this situation tomorrow so think I'm going to back Brownie and Bruce

you'd be better off sticking money on Murray to win Wimbledon, i've found it's basically the only way to focus on watching tennis and support him since there's usually no footy on that time of year

Holloway was just a ****, rural Phil Brown rip-off. I also hate his ****ing stupid body warmer. I'd much rather have Pearson back, with the added feature of him doing a two hour monologue before each match, than I would Holloway.

Three attempts to replace a man who should have never been sacked and they've all failed, why bother with a fourth? The only choice is Phil Brown.

Phil Brown thinks so anyway

I'd have Brownie back on the basis that some of the people linked with the job like Clark don't have the same kind of credentials or connection with us. It did go wrong for him but lifes a learning curve, who's to say he hasn't taken on board his mistakes
