Missed out on the Euro's, Man City playing Zabeleta over him.

He's not as highly rated as he was at the start of the season. He's young, class, would give us more strength, aerial power and pace at the back.

He needs some developing, and seems to love attacking more than defending, but he has quality.

Do you think we'd get him from City? I like him because he's not a hyped up English player, or massively rated, but he has raw quality, and we could develop him well.

I think there's a chance also due to the fact that City will be buying big again, and he could be further down the pecking order.

He's no doubt on high wages, but if we offer him 50k a week + bonuses and guaranteed first team football in a team in the Europa League, pushing for CL next season and on a team that's progressing well, I think we could nick him.

Imagine -

Santon---Colo---Douglas/Sayor---Richards

Brilliant.

That would no doubt cause a bit of a problem with players that have been told that there's a salary cap and they can't expect to be paid that much.

You've got the players in the wrong positions

I'd rather have us sign a left back and shift Santon into his proper position

No, I just put my formation in a different way to you guys.

I put LB's on the left hand side, and RB's on the right hand side. For some reason it's become a trend to do it the other way around... <doh>

A bit like calling you Tah.

Could end up with you getting called 'Tank you very much' or something not quite as polite as that.

We'd never get him in a million years. His wages would be high, City would never sell, and he wouldn't want to leave the champions for us. Bish bash bosh.[/QUOTE]

Can't argue with any of this, he'd have to give up too much!

Razzle Dazzle!
