there won't be any shortage of takers for holt so a bidding war could be on the cards - should help us sign rodriguez i suppose! anyway, as it stands, the transfer request has been rejected so its rather premature saying he is definitely off - we just have no idea. its certainly not helpful though!!

And so it BEGINS… :D LAMBCHOPS is on the move and he’s going to destabilize you before he leaves! Ruthless but definitely his modus operandi, for he wants 6 easy points from you next season! <ok>

you silly little colmoo Lambo has turned him down, Lambo is not going anywhere or do you see him coming back to Colchester lol!

I think provided Lambert is still there come the start of the season Holt will also be. I may change my mind depending on his reason for handing in a request however.

I can only assume this means Lambert is going. 143 users viewing this thread. Holt is big news these days.

I am shocked to say the least.

It's strange that he was planning to be on McVeigh radio show tonight and only pulled out today. That would suggest he woke up this morning with no intention of handing in a transfer request. Very strange indeed.

I can't remember, but did Holt sign a new contract on promotion from league 1 to the Championship?
If he did then he's effectively had a new contract each season, having massively exceeded expectations. It really could be just new contract pressure being applied, given he's now a very successful Premier league striker.

totally disagree with the first part of your comment re: lambert going but the second part is correct - that to me suggests agents playing hardball.

if anybody deserves more money then its holty to be fair, but this would suggest the club cannot afford what his agent wants <ok>

The rooney point is a good one he even had a press conference as soon as he got the £250k a week he 'deserved' he loved man united again. I'd personally pay holt more e.g. we've paid vaughan all that money for nothing why not bump up holts wage a bit?

ellers, i don't know who you think you are but you can check back on all my posts on the old 606 if you like because i was a big, big backer for qpr to NOT be deducted points over the faurlin case. i was not alone, numerous norwich fans sided with me, so please stop making up nonsense that norwich fans wanted you to have a point deduction because it isn't true.

Okay i take that back <ok> Funny as i was writing the post i thought i may have got you mixed up with another poster.
Anyway it's not good that you best goal score hands in a transer request.
