What i'm getting at guys when i talk about disrespecting Ruddy, to my mind anything concerning no Holt should be left to another thread/s. look at it like this, if you bumped into John Ruddy in the street today would say to him 'oh well done on your call up, but Holt not getting in is an absolute joke etc etc etc' you wouldn't because its just plain rude and disrespectful to his achievement!
i've congratulated him on twitter via a personal message. i really regret showing so much disrespect to him now
Because your more concerned about Holt not getting in, rather than Ruddy actually having the talent to get in. You lot couldn't even have one thread saying well done John Ruddy without the holt exclusion overtaking it!
eh? there's a whole thread about him! it then got hijacked by you are you pretending to be this thick?
errr, the post said 'Well done John Ruddy, but holty not getting in is scandelous' its there in black and white!
****ing hell guru! how hard is it to get this into your thick scull - we are all absolutely over the moon for ruddy. that doesn't mean we aren't annoyed about holt (quite rightly). to be honest, i'm far more pissed off about stewart bloody downing cos the guy is the worst player i've ever seen play for england... ...and i saw carlton palmer
Ruddy will be equally, if not more, disappointed at Holt's exclusion than we are. If Ruddy looks at these boards, he will 100% not feel disrespected!
completely agree. they've both been biggin' each other up and they are good friends. as much as it'll have hurt holty i'm sure he's as pleased for ruddy as anyone too. its good to have our club represented by anyone and ruddy deserves it more than anyone
I loved one of the comments on the BBC: 'I've got as many PL goals and assists as Downing, can I go?'
i read one from a chelsea fan which said 'i've got more assits than downing cos i threw the ball back on the pitch for a throw and we scored from it!'
Really pleased for Ruddy, well deserved, with Holt not even in the standby squad it looks like my arse is safe:
do we think ruddy is no2 or no3? i suppose he'll only be no3 behind green. just hope he gets to play in the friendlies good news about your arse monarch
Phil jagielka is the reserve. Now I can tell you as I saw him only a few days ago He's **** I wonder if they asked holt to be a reserve and he told them to **** off
Hodgeson said he was 3rd choice with Green 2nd. Not sure I agree with that but I guess Green has experience all be it a bad one
Well done Ruddy, he has saved us so many points this year!... Holt not included.... big mistake, feel sorry for him he worked so hard.... well as for the rest of the team do you think we will lose in the Group stages out or round 2?
this is going to be great experience for ruddy to train with joe hart, who i believe has the potential to be one of the greatest keepers of all time. any tipos he can pick up from working day to day with him can only benefit ruddy long term.
i'm not convinced we've got enough to get through the group stage. france are my dark horse this year, sweden seem to be a bogey team (i know we beat them last time but it wasn't deserved) and ukraine are hosts. tough, very tough, but you never know with football!
Generally an OK squad if not a bit unimaginative ruined by Liverpool players that shouldn't be there, maybe Gerrard aside. Ruddy will work hard and will certainly look to learn alot which hopefully will benefit both him and us
