It's what I've seen circulating, Henry Winter posted it on twitter that he had been dropped. To be fair right back is one of are strongest positions purely because of Walker and Richards. I know Walker is injured so probably expect Johnson to be in squad, but is Richards has been dropped, which there are stong rumours he has, it will be an horrendous call![]()
see i would go with danny simpson ahead of glen johnson, and bizarrely, this seems to be backed up in this article. now ok, its in the sun, but that is somewhat irrelevant as its based solely on who DESERVES to go BASED ON FORM. there are a couple of other familiar faces in there...

no gerrard either which if i had my way would be the case, though finding a replacement is tricky
I have a bad feeling that the team in the article will be better than that selected. Why can't this country pick players on form (not 2/3 games that does not constitute form) regardless of their team. We would surely have a better chance then. Imagine has Osman feels, been quality for a few seasons yet still never gets a mention. Players like him are consistently good, many of the youngsters have 1 good game in 5
completely agree. its been like this for as long as i can remember though! arguably, the only manager who i can remember who went for form players was graham taylor - that didn't work out too well though to be fair, there was hardly a stream of quality alternatives to those he picked! i just hate the fact that it doesn't seem to matter how well you do for your club - its all about who you play for or where you've come from, its not actually about who will do the best job anymore
BBC are reporting that Carroll is definitely in. It's bullshit, I hope he gets sent off the long haired twat.
This is from the beeb:
"Carroll finished the season on a high, scoring the winner as Liverpool beat Blackburn and Everton in the FA Cup semi-final and transforming the FA Cup final when he came off the bench against Chelsea."
Actually he finished this season with a petulant display against Swansea where he made no impact other than wrestling with a Swans player before half-time that on another day would have got him sent off. And in that cup final where he made such a "transformation" he actually missed a piece of piss header from about three yards that Dean Coney would have buried. He has also scored 38 goals in six seasons, Grant Holt has scored 70 in three.
Oh but he scored against Blackburn, forgive me if I don't start frothing at the mouth with excitement.
**** it, we're wasting our breath boys n girls, these ****ers haven't got a clue![]()

Holt doesn't even make the back up cut.
