Nope, not some supporters heads, nor are the Sex Pistols about to reform; the situation at clubs in the Premier League. This piece cropped up on NewsNow and features Mick Dennis, a man very much in the know at Norwich City, discussing the relevant vacancies about to crop up and where Lambert sits amongst them. Interesting stuff which basically sits where I do on the whole thing. http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/ha...erts-possible-move-norwich-aston-villa-172111
I thought you lot always called talksport 'Talkshite'? strange how they are the font of all knowledge suddenly!
Sounds pretty much where I sit. The MON saga as was mentioned will be the biggest reason to not go to Villa
As I'm using my works PC at the moment I can't listen to this Supers. Is he suggesting that Lambert won't go then ?
err, its an interview with a journalist for talksport, not by talksport sorry guru, i know he's not saying what you wanted to hear
Basically says he doesn't think Villa are the biggest threat to PL leaving and if he goes it won't be to Villa. Seems pretty confident he will stay though. States that MON left Villa on bad terms and PL will know the ins and outs of this.
effectively yes, at least not to villa, and that lambert doesn't want to leave but cannot stipulate this to the fans because of course, you never know what is just around the corner and he won't want to lie to the board and the fans about not leaving and then suddenly go and take over at another club. perfectly rational stuff. liverpool job, for instance, is mentioned, but villa, not very likely at all, mainly cos of the 'o'neill effect'
nothing confirmed as yet but it does seem likely. i wonder who you think will become their new boss? i have my suspicions...
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...Villa-want-Norwichs-Paul-Lambert-as-boss.html Also from another Journo, yes from the sun but would probably have the same type of insider knowledge as Mick Dennis.
there are few plebs on it, but i think talksport has improved a lot imo. surely you must like it guru, alan brazil in the morning...you can almost smell his beer breeth through the radio
Liverpool fans seem keen on getting Rafa in but I imagine FSG will want to move forward this time not back.
is this article written by the same graeme bryce who has only just began to cover midlands football for the sun? who used to work in scotland? yeah, he knows intimately the inner workings of football in norwich. he barely knows anything about the villa! discredited
