is this true? i mean, by all means liverpool, appoint benitez, please do, but why are their fans so keen to have him back? never got the thing with rafa at all myself...
that actually wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. he wants a club job in england too doesn't he? could do a lot worse
If he has worked in scotland, then it would be reasonable to suggest that he could know sources close to Lambert!
Well the few Liverpool fans I had spoken too seemed to think so but couldn't say it's a majority opinion. Capello could well interest them so could Ranieri or many Blanc
how is that clutching at straws, its a perfectly reasonable argument, just because it differs from your side it doesn't mean i'm clutching at straws. basically we have 3 criterias for getting information Norwich, Aston Villa (midlands club) and scotland (due to the fact he would have close sources from his home country). This reporter deals with Midlands club so obviously will have sources within Villa, Has worked most of his time in Scotland so will obviously have sources close to Lambert. Can you tell me the sources that Mick Dennis would have?
guru, if you are unaware of how close to norwich's hierarchy mick dennis is then there is no point you arguing about it. he is delia's bezzie mate effectively. he knows as close to everything about the club as is possible for a journalist. i personally don't think he's a great journalist and couldn't understand his constant backing of roeder but when it comes to insider norwich knowledge he is top notch. i happen to know of graeme so can tell you that he is not 'clued up' on the goings on inside any club other than aberdeen. he has only been covering the west midlands this season and would not be trusted with intimate dealings. also, if you bother to read his article, it is so vague! he states 'it has become clear they are fighting a losing battle to hold on to the 42-year-old Scot' - no it hasn't! 'Although Lambert’s closest ally and mentor Martin O’Neill had an acrimonious bust-up with Lerner before quitting Villa Park two years ago, it is not likely to hinder his chances of landing O’Neill’s old job.' - yes it will! 'Sources close to Lambert claim he would jump at the chance to follow in O’Neill’s footsteps and take charge of the ailing Midlands giants' - nobody knows that information other than lambert. its one of the least intelligent articles imaginable. probably why he works for the sun
**** me, last week Woy was Delia's bezzie mate and Grunt was a shoe in for the euro's! Norwich is worse than the bloody mafia!
to be fair, its well known that woy and delia are good friends! not sure that means holty will get called up though, unless delia has bribed him with a nice cake - then he'll be a shoe-in!
