Supers I think that the scousers will more than likely make a move for Lambert so I agree that he wont go to Villa <ok> I just think that you are under estimate how big Villa are and for a young ambitious manager like Lambert it would be a great opportunity. You can't possibly compare the Burnley approach with a potential approach from Villa!

i certainly don't underestimate villa's potential, but i do totally understand why our manager wouldn't be interested in it at this time, something that you seem unable to comprehend. as i say, liverpool would be a real threat

if PL were to be approached for the villa job, i'm sure he would immediately contact MON for his views, and i doubt he would be very complimentary about the villians, a fact that would have great bearing on PL's decision as to him MON is almost like a father who he thinks very highly of.

Agree 100% with this. MON left for a reason and PL will find out about it. If he doesn't like it he won't go. This is perhaps the biggest reason I don't think he will go to Villa

my mate at stoke reckons that villa made an enquiry this afternoon which he believes was about talking to tony pulis. now it may be that they were discussing anything at all but tony pulis!! <laugh> <yikes>

maybe they've got a thing at the villa for dour football!

Of all the Football"isms" that are used by Norwich fans the term

"We all know Lambert will leave one day"

Is the one that really jabs at my nutsack

...that is all.

my major gripe is the massive over reaction to all this! if he wants to leave he will - so why start crying and begging? he's a football manager - a bloody good one. its only natural that other clubs will want one of the best managers in the country. so if he stays then some of our fans really do need to realise that this is going to keep happening. no point getting all upset about it! just enjoy the fact we've got someone everyone else wants :D

I kind of expected it, especially after Burnley last year, but it does bring out some hilarious opinions. I've kept myself from the pinkun all day but I went over there a minute ago and... wow, what a treat.

sometimes i think i'm going mad beefy! why do some people think there is always an ulterior motive behind something someone says? conspiracy this, conspiracy that... its just football! its not MI5.

and managers come and go - do people not realise this? <doh>

You say that but Arsenal fans have "proof" of a conspiracy against them, being directed from the very top. Maybe football has been taken over and we are being fed a lie.
