There are few less popular options available out there! Actually, that's a bit of interest while we're bored - who would be worse?

Dolan, Ian Branfoot, Carlton Palmer? Ian Atkins? Any more? And dont say Brown cos he clearly wouldnt be.....

Steve Bruce, Glenn Roeder, Steve Kean, Denise Wise

The 'story' has its origins on the bullshit football rumours site earlier this week and then copied up by some no mark before the Mirror latched on.

I've found one accurate way of deciding if something's bollocks or not is to see who's saying it. For example, if it's Proud Fox, it's invariably bollocks. <ok>

Not saying it won't turn out to be true, just that up to now it has no credible sources.

I can't believe that someone can post something at 2.00am on a football rumour site(probably pissed up) and the next day it makes a national newspaper.

If you can call the Mirror a newspaper.

I turned up for work this morning in a good mood from the events of yesterday only to be brought back down to earth to hear humberside have said we are to appoint this idiot?
This cannot be possible!!

Surley out of all these supposed applicants he carn't be the best can he? Is the rest made up of sunday league managers. Id rather have Brian Little back, failing that the man with the tan.

news from 5live is that mcleish has said his farewells to the staff at villa's training ground, and not just for summer holidays.

can't see another prem team taking him so it's either Scotland or the championship.

any thoughts on whether he'd be a decent option?

Cheap options only for us now. The Allams put £50,000,000 of their own in. Then they did'nt get the stadium as they expected. TWS will love this !

So sacking Barmby was pointless IF you beleave ^^^^^^ this.

IMO, The Allams are under pressure to justify what they did last week. They know the consequences of a Cheap Fix and thats the only good thing at the moment, imo.

I am not sure that I agree they will even consider who the fans think is a good manager. They will do whatever they want to cos they own the club and they rule.
