    The 'story' has its origins on the bullshit football rumours site earlier this week and then copied up by some no mark before the Mirror latched on.

    I've found one accurate way of deciding if something's bollocks or not is to see who's saying it. For example, if it's Proud Fox, it's invariably bollocks. <ok>

    Not saying it won't turn out to be true, just that up to now it has no credible sources.

    news from 5live is that mcleish has said his farewells to the staff at villa's training ground, and not just for summer holidays.

    can't see another prem team taking him so it's either Scotland or the championship.

    any thoughts on whether he'd be a decent option?

    So sacking Barmby was pointless IF you beleave ^^^^^^ this.

    IMO, The Allams are under pressure to justify what they did last week. They know the consequences of a Cheap Fix and thats the only good thing at the moment, imo.

    The Allams need someone who the fans regard as top draw to mitigate the Barmby sacking and Blackwell is nowhere near this level

    I am not sure that I agree they will even consider who the fans think is a good manager. They will do whatever they want to cos they own the club and they rule.
