Mass Effect 2 is pretty good. Don't have an Xbox so can't play Mass Effect, and no point getting Mass Effect 3 as I haven't completed 2. Saying that I guess, Joe's right in that it depends what console you play New Vegas on in relation to bugs. I was thinking of getting it on PS3 as I wasn't sure my laptop could handle New Vegas (it could handle Fallout 3 just about on medium settings, but would sometimes lag and sometimes it would be really bad) but I got a new laptop for my birthday which can play Fallout 3 on high settings with absolutely no lag (maybe even very high, I haven't tried that) so might get it on PC now. Also considering getting Fallout 2 as well. There's an XP version you can buy off Amazon really cheap, however it probably won't run on Windows 7! Well with the Combat Shotgun, you can make pretty much anything fly if you shoot them close enough range! And I'd say the combat shotgun is the best combination of power, rapidity of fire, magazine size, accuracy and ability to use effectively without V.A.T.S.. Only problem is it's relatively short range.
If you get New Vegas and the addons, you will come across a weapon called Red Glare. Its a fully automatic rocket launcher.
I'm currently reliving a bit of misspent youth - just picked up a second hand Snes, so am playing Super Mario World & Super Metroid again. Still as incredible as ever
Max Payne was a quality game with a good narrative, however the movie they released of it was terrible.
Quick question about the Fallout 3 add-ons, can you use your Fallout 3 character in mid-story, go to the Pitt or Mothership Zeta or whatever, then come back and continue the story? Or are they completely separate? Another good game is Populous: The Beginning. They should so make a sequel.
Same character, but if memory serves me right. In the mothership add on you lose all your weapons. So don't bring them with you.
I would suggest ditching all your stuff before you go to the Pitt also. Otherwise, you'll never be able to carry all the loot you find. this includes: Power armour in Pittsburgh Steeler colours, a laser rifle that shoot like 9 beams, and a really cool silenced assault rifle.
So after 34 hours gameplay, Fallout New Vegas has finally glitched itself to death. Autosave in the fort results in instantaneous death and two previous saves are so corrupted that none of the elements of gameplay work! I believe the expression is "Suck ma bawz Bethseda!" Will now have to try one of the recommendations on here to tide me over until Max Payne comes out....
Dead Money in New Vegas. Very Hard difficulty and Hardcore Mode, every moment is a desperate struggle for survival. Very post-apocalyptic-y.
N64 and Goldeneye was class. Playstation, Time Crisis was quality then there was Rayman (what a game that was!). Best football game I ever played was This is Football - I enjoyed the diving and neck high tackles. Grand theft auto 3 was genius for its time. The Tekkens provided hours of fun back in the late 90's early 00's. Kind of missed the Pokemon thing, but had a massive effect on my sister and people her age. COD modern warfare in more recent times for the online capacity. No other COD has come close to this. Other notable inclusions: Silent Hill 1,2,3. Crash Bandicoot Oddworld: Abe's oddyse
Never got that, my PS3 had died again just after the 4th dlc for New Vegas. My third one!, so got pissed off and switched to Xbox. Haven't brought New Vegas for it yet.
