Having witnessed a sensational and controversial football match at the Emirates this weekend, possibly the best game I've seen this season, you'd think I'd be rather happy with the result and especially with my team for their heroics. Well, you'd be right! However, the gloss has been taken off this somewhat. Having spent many hours with Arsenal supporters throughout this weekend, I would just like to say that Arsenal Football Club contain the most mind-numbingly deluded set of irritating, blinkered, idiotic and petulant fans I've ever encountered in my life. Truly an obnoxious bunch of imbeciles who seem to have it in their heads that the world should revolve around them and that there is some kind of conspiracy against them from high above. So astonished am I by the events of the past couple of days both in person and through reading some of the daftest, most incredibly biased reports EVER that I wish to state on record that I shall support EVERY team that plays the 'Gooners' from now on, including Ipswich Town. Thank god Arsenal supporters don't all take after their manager, eh... Ps. I'm sure that not ALL Arsenal fans behave in this manner, but I'm afraid I met none this weekend to amend the above view.
I have been entertained non-stop by the rubbish Arsenal fans have been coming up with on various websites and I am glad I don't know any Arsenal fans.
Went to the game with my pals who are Arsenal fans I must been threatened about four times with violence I deliberately went out of my way to antagonise all the other Arsenal fans in the pub, it was great fun.
some of the 'excuses' i heard arsenal fans spouting were disgusting to be honest. accusing us of bribing referees (the guy was adamant that he'd been 'told' by an ex-official that we were doing it) and i even got 'told' by a gooner in the pub that he'd been threatened by grant holt and bradley johnson after the game, despite according to his mate, him getting in the pub before the players had even left the pitch (great fan! ). some of the stuff they dreamt up was insane, seriously! it was so daft it made me laugh at one point, but apparently, in north london, if you laugh at a gooner its a sign that you 'want some'. this then leads to their aggressive behaviour but apparently, i only have myself to blame because 'i support a bunch of cheating c*nts'. o... k...
That's odd how people go, 'agree with me or I'll hurt you!' Don't know where these fans get the crap from and how they can justify it!
I got banned from their board for saying they have a weak midfield and effectively no backbone. That's a fair comment surely? Their defence and defensive midfield is atrocious then they blame us for carving it up That brings the sub-total of boards I've been banned from to two. Liverpool and arsenal, both on a different ****ing planet, both a bunch of nobs.
Talk about tarring with a single brush. How many of the 60,000 at the Emirates on Saturday did you guys meet? Arsenal fans don't, in point of fact, have a history of violence, and a reputation for poor behaviour towards other fans -- apart from the usual North London derby spats with Spurs fans. Are we to suppose that Northamptonncfc's Arsenal-supporting friends are of the same ilk? But then, Northampton says he had great fun antagonising the Gooners in the pub. What's sauce for the goose .........
They were A-grade knob jockeys giving it all the charlie big potatoes I called Song a ginger haired twat lots of harsh words were exchanged along the lines of you want to watch it mate or you'll get your ****ing head kicked in every time my back was turned they kick off. When Morison scored I went crazy and they ended up moving seats. I can take being called a carrot crunching c*nt off mates I've known for 23 years but after the game it's forgotten when it's a complete and utter stranger it's different.
Most Arsenal fans are fine as with every club but a lot of the Ray Winstone wannabe London overspill ****e in Northampton aren't though. I constantly get **** off people for being a Norwich fan where I'm from it's like having a younger sibling who you constantly tease, the difference is they can't handle it when I dish it back.
OK. Every club has them among its fans, Norwich included. It just seems to me daft to allow the objectionable minority to colour one's view to such an extent.
i went to the game with a gooner and can honestly say he was the only one who behaved like a human being throughout the whole weekend - probably cos he's from outside london! seriously, i've never experienced anything like the hatred shown by hundreds of arsenal fans towards myself and my club - it was extremely intimidating at times but that wasn't the half of it. some of the obscenities aimed at our club were appalling and i'm sure anyone who reads these boards will recognise that i don't take too kindly to people who talk down about our club. of the 100+ arsenal fans i encountered on a personal level this weekend (whom i didn't already know), every single one of them was a complete prick so yes, i feel i have decent reason to tarnish their whole club with the same brush (even though i said earlier that i'm sure there are decent fans out there). they all behave like their manager does - arrogantly.
They're all cockneys at the end of the day They proper hit the roof in west/north london when you say that lol
I know but the whole demeanour and style basically imagine the eastern districts big day out along the Wellingborough Road complete with £2 shirts from TK Maxx and Jacamo.
I'd give it to the likes of Spurs, West Ham, Millwall (obviously), those lads know how to have a turn out, but Arsenal are a ****ing joke, seen them at Portman Rd, laughable!
So a sample of 0.15% of those who were at the Emirates on Saturday makes it "reasonable" to "tarnish the whole club"? Hmm! As for arrogance, Arsenal fans don't have a monopoly on that; there's plenty on show much closer to home -- ask Col U supporters.
To be fair to Supers it happens to everyone. You see a small segment of a group and make a judgement on that whole group based on the segment.
Most their fans are law abiding people but when Manchester United play on the box I avoid the Wellingborough Road at all costs plenty of dicks out a lot of names and people with reputations for being nasty bastards out in their droves no thanks.
