Yeah that's correct <ok> Fantastic game, If I remember rightly we were the televised lunch time game against Villa and it was a dull game with Villa winning 1-0, complete contrast to the Luton game! I agree it's sad to see them where they are now, we were neck and neck in league 1 in our promotion season with a rivalry developing between both sets of fans and they took to the championship well in their first season. They're in the conference play offs so have a chance of regaining football league status.

They tend to look a bit more composed, maybe even arrogant. The goalscorers of yesterday look genuinely amazed when a goal is scored and everyone just runs around in circles jumping every few steps.

I suppose that includes running around like maniacs waving their shirts in the air for which the then proceed to get booked. Or it could be sliding along the ground on their knees, or kicking and punching the corner flag .... or doing some obscure dance what the scorers only seem know the steps. I missed your point somewhere along the line

I wasn't really making a point, just the simple observation that pre-80s football was really strange in that way. Other observations from that era include hilariously bad defending and goalies who haven't yet figured out they can dive hands first.

I love the Hull v Liverpool clip, I remember being at home listening to it on Humberside & running up & down the stairs when City scored that 2nd, unfortunately, unlike the You Tube clip there was a 2nd half!
Best game I have seen that I can really remember being a stand out game was the Coventry v Spurs final, amazing come back. Also Man Utd v Everton in '85 when Kevin Moran was the first player ever to be sent off in a Cup Final.
