They had every intention of sacking him and it was Billy Davies who was lined up to replace him, something that may yet still happen, but they definitely seem to be getting cold feet. Partly due to costs, partly due to fan reaction and partly because I think they've realised that they maybe went a bit over the top.
Stir it up? No no, stick it back thank you. Past few days have been certain people making outrageous statements as facts when in reality, they were either made up, or just pure speculation.
If you believed the ****e written this week:
1. Nick has been sacked. 100% gone. No going back. He's gone.
2. The Allams didnt save the club. Not one bit.
3. The Allams have some evil plan to screw the club and fans over after pretending to save it.
4. The Allams didnt give the club any money, it was just all promises, with the aim of destroying us
5. Adam only thought about the club, he has no other interests, he would kill his first born to help City
As I've stated, I know what APs done for us, and I thank him for it, he is however, just a business man.
As I also said, Nick hasn't been sacked and my opinion is, he just needs to actually realise he's a manager and not the players bestest mate, and grow the **** up.
I said 2 days ago that I thought this would end up with us still with Nick and the naysayers would end up saying:
1. Well its like a sacking.
or
2. Something happened at the last minute to change their minds but he was deffo going to be sacked. Honest.
So, forgive me if I wish to appear smug, but, **** you, I'm going to be as smug as I like. That's even before any of this has been confirmed.
Oh the Allams could learn a thing or 2 about spin from some of the posters on here too.

Come on OLM think you are too close to this. Step back a bit eh. They had every intention of sacking him!! What the look in their eyes, threatening gestures come on. Heated arguement maybe but you were not in the room. Boardroom spats soon get glossed over.
You're possibly right, their meeting with Billy Davies was probably just to discuss potential holiday destinations in Scotland.
Arent good business men supposed to have a back up plan? If you think you may sack/he may walk out then you need another candidate to fill the void. Whoops sorry Adam!!
Well every other manager in the football league must be unprofessional then. When the press come asking questions about what additions are needed next season etc etc did you just expect him to be totally quiet or say no comment. I and a lot of other people have listened to these interviews over again and I cannot find anything wrong with what he said. Before he was suspended was there one thread on here complaining that he had said too much or was being disloyal. "make him aware of his position" you will be expecting everyone to bow and scrape to the Allams next. Money does not bring respect that has to be earned.

OLM, please accept I am genuine. I'm not going to call you (or anyone else) a "Liar" just because something you say doesn't come to fruition. After all, things change quickly in football. So I'm not going to call the Allams liars either, because most of what they've said is demonstrably true.
They have studiously avoided comment on Barmby, so I'm guessing that something is still happening there, which I deduce may be awaiting him making a decision. We'll no doubt see in due course. If he's already gone then he could easily say so, so lets hope...................
However, I have noticed that both you and Premier Tiger seem to be claiming some inside knowledge which you are unwilling to ascribe to anyone. So.....how certain are you that this information is accurate? Does your source have an axe to grind against any of the 3 (AP/NB/Allams) parties? Does your info and PT's info come from the same source? If not do both sources agree in every detail? Why can't you name your source? Would their jobs be at risk? Has previous info from the source been accurate? What numbers are going to come up on the lottery tomorrow? (only joking, you can keep that one to yourself).
As I say, not having a go, just trying to balance the various stories/theories/rumours in my own mind.
By the way, seems M'boro may be in for Koren, better at least then him going to NP at LeprosyCity.
I am not bothered about knowing their source but would imagine they know Nick personally, which may make their views a bit one sided but only a titchy bit.
Don't worry this is going to be my last post here, the sanctimonious and righteous arsewipes that post here as insiders and experts are starting to irritate the hell out of me. I'd already thought of not bothering here, then this weeks "Incident" blew up and I figured this would be a good source of info.
Sadly I was wrong.
Despite trying to cast some sense into the raging arguments about the evil Allams and St Nick and St Adam, I've suffered abuse on the threads and in PMs and whilst they are mostly just funny (if I thought anyone was capable of carrying out their threats I'd report them to the police) and I'm ignoring them, I really do not need the hassle or abuse.
Theoretically we're all batting for the same team but some people seem to take great joy in just jumping on any made up bit of ****e and bashing people who without, we'd have no club. The same people who boo the players. Who think 50 million quid is nothing, whilst collecting their giro's and not knowing what it is to actually be a success. They make me sick.
My stance has been 100% the same all the way through this, and seeing as it now appears I'm right, I was aware I'd come in for more abuse.
I just wish there was a way to actually delete an account on here but Mick doesn't seem to allow that.

I'm obviously not going to post where the info comes from, but it's from more than one source and I'm 100% certain of it's accuracy. PT and I have seats near each other at the KC and we do discuss things off this board, hence the fact that both of us know what each other knows. Situations are ever changing, particularly at the moment, but the information that both of us have posted have been completely accurate at the time of posting.
Now you see, that implies you know something. BUT..... we've already been told by a man on here with "inside information" that Ehab and Billy Davies are "best mates", so maybe they meet up occassionaly? Seems strange also that a middle aged man, whose best mate is a professional football club manager, and who has spent his entire life in this country, should know nothing about football. As we seem to be routinely told on here..............by one of the 30,000 "experts" in the city.
Like him or loathe him, I would still say "MadHog" has a right to an opinion.
