Realistic transfers for me:

Out:

Forte
Holmes
Puncheon
Dickson
Falque (Loan return)
Barnard
Connolly
Jaidi
Doble
Forecast

In:

Jarvis
Miyaichi (Loan)
Lewis
Dann

Possibilities:

Hooper
O'Hara
Powell

Hooper has stated that he has no interest in a transfer as he wants to play Champions League football. (think he means Europa league)

I'm not really excited by the prospect of Jarvis. I know he's supposed to be good, and got into the England squad that one time, but shouldn't we be signing players from teams who are capable of staying up?

I understand the sentiment, and also don't think Jarvis is as good as some people hype him to be, but he has got some undoubted talent and will add to the squad. I think the fact he's playing in a very poor team shouldn't put people off, Antonio Valencia was also playing for a dire side and is now arguably Manchester United's most potent danger. Ba also went down with West Ham but has proved to be quality this season.

Not worried if a player comes from a team that have done badly or been relegated....they couldn't win on their own, could they? If a player has potential to improve under Adkins and his team and fits in, i won't judge them on their past. After all, Billy came from Doncaster.

That is bizarre logic to take!

Davis, Schneiderlin and Lallana all were relegated to League One with Saints, Scott Parker got relegated to the Championship with West Ham etc etc etc

Base a player on their own merits, not that of the fortunes in one season of the team they play for.

Instead of randomly signing good players available from relegated sides, Nige and the Don will lookd at what needs strenghtening.
Jarvis would be good as we are short of strength in depth of good wide players.
Apart from Schteve, who have we got who is an out an out good wide player?

And how much have you seen of those merits this season?

The main reason why Wolves were relegated is that they were shocking defensively. Jarvis is a good player and would be very pleased to see him at Saints.

Exactly! Joe, on this one it is true that it was defensive issues. They have a reasonable midfield and Jarvis is a good winger.

Just because they have gone down is irrelevant.
