KK still needs to go. Being 34 points behind number 1 and 13 points behind number 4 is unacceptable and an unbelievable underachievement. Its sad to say it but we've become a mid-table team with one of the most expensive squads in Europe and that blame has to be taken by the manager.

The players need new different ideas, Kennys trying his best im sure but the game has moved on. Henry needs to do the right thing and take him out of his misery.

    Agree or not?

agreed, how some liverpool fans think he has light shining out of his arse is quite frankly hilarious.

I agree with your assessment that our season is unacceptable and we have underachieved but we can't keep sacking and replacing. After all Kenny has done for us he deserves the benefit of the doubt and so I will keep patient and stay quiet whilst he continues to re-build our squad. League performance aside, one trophy and in the final for another isn't a horrific first season.

I think the football we have played at times has been good, we have to remember Lucas has been missing for over half the season, he gives us much more freedom to attack, Suarez has been missing for a quater of the season, Gerrard injured for a similar amount. Johnson, another wonderfull attacking player has missed large chunks of the season. I feel the back up hasnt matched the first team choices.

made us play a style of football that doesn't want to make me gouge out my eyes. His signings have been ****, but his tactics are sound and we would be much higher in the table had our players been good enough to score rather than hitting the post 31 times...

    No.

We have underachieved this season but I think Kenny should get one more season... that way he can have a proper go at Europe, he'll work with a decent director of football and hopefully get the club moving again, the other alternative is Rafa... Rafa with FSG could be a match made in heaven

From an outside view and to those who defend Kenny regardless.

You sound like Arsenal a few years ago. Oh the footballs nice.......maybe so, wheres the end product though? Wheres the desire and the killer instinct?

I think its safe to say you guys who defend Kennys awful performance in the league would of been at the front of the queue to question Wengers team back then.

The season has been a disappointment in terms of league position. However, where we finish can't hide the fact that we've actually improved significantly. Even allowing for the injuries/suspensions, we have dominated teams in a way that we have not done for many a year. Our style of play is far better than it has been for a long while. If you only gave us a conversion rate of 50% of all the attempts that have hit the woodwork then we would be sitting very comfortably in 3rd pace. The season has been frustrating.

Hmmmm, sounds remarkably like Arsenal. They had lots of the ball and created lots of chances aswell.

but whereas they have won nothing in 7 years now we could come away from Kennys first season with 2 trophies.....

A valid point but the cups do nothing more than paper over the cracks. Chances are with Chelsea superior form they will win the FA Cup aswell.

Arsenal missed out on cups just as easily as Liverpool could of done, you didnt dominate Cardiff and you wont Chelsea. Another day another final and Cardiff could of won. Then what?

What if it was any manager bar Dalglish.

Lets say it was Neil Warnock or Mick McCarthy.

What if, what if. Who cares, it happened, no point thinking of what ifs. Football is about seeing your team play well and the joy of winning trophies, I've seen both this season so I'm content.

When the manager had a team that never lost a match all season, he must know his stuff. And given that they have been paying for their stadium fior the last decade, and yet he has kept them top 4, proves that those fans know what they are talking about.
