I thought the Reading sale hasn't gone through yet Guru
Bolton will probably go this year (i'd rather QPR did), not sure about Stoke. Fulham could struggle if they lost Dembele and Dempsey, and a lot of their first team is quite old (murphy, Duff, Senderos to name a few) however, i've seen them a few times this season, and they have a decent academy / knack of signing young players from overseas, so not sure myself.

if it hasn't it is very close. If blackburn go down this year i reckon they will struggle with the venkys.

Do all Premier League clubs have foreign investors? I only thought it was a few!

There is certainly a lot more than say 7 to 8 years ago, i'm just putting a suggest out there as why there has been the increase, but out of the first 14 seasons there were 4 clubs relegated in their second season, yete there has been 6 in the last 6. quite a change you must admit to that!

QPR - Away 3 points
Swansea - Away 3 points
Wolves - Home 3 points
Everton - Home 1 point (came back from a goal down twice!)

<ok>

I think the calibre of the opposition says it all really! apart from Everton if the sides are still in the premier next season i expect them to be struggling like yourselves.

including this season 10 teams have gone down in their second season since the start of the premier league, but more interestingly it works out that 6 teams in the last 6 seasons have gone down in their second season. this shows that there is a definate pattern to the second season being as hard if not harder than the first. that equates to 33.3333333% of teams that gets promoted go down in their second season.

please can you tell me which part is not clear?

but guru, as long as we don't get beat by the teams in the bottom six (this has happened twice vs blackburn and villa this season), we will be fine!

Unbelievable, in fact I give up on this thread.

You tell us our squad won't be able to come from behind this season, so I give you facts that disprove that. You then basically say I bet most of those points were from the first half of the season - again I disprove that. So when I tell you the teams we've picked the points up from, they aren't good enough. Well **** me, maybe we should play Man City every week just so you can be proved right!

<doh>

please don't do that, i wouldn't be able to stop myself laughing at the score lines! seriously though carra, hardly top of the table are they!

It's pretty obvious that if you beat the teams you are competing with for survival you WILL survive, any points gained from playing the top six are a real bonus. How on earth can anyone argue that FACT <doh>

It gives you a pretty good start and very important, yes. but it doesn't guarentee safety does it! if you lost every other game you would be relegated definately.

Right on cue!
