Hooper said: “There are always rumours about that. But I have two years left on my contract, I am scoring goals and I am loving my football. There is a big chance for us to play Champions League football next season and that has been a personal ambition of mine for a long time.“I loved playing in the Europa League this season and I think the game away to Udinese is one of the highlights of my career. I would love the chance to sample the Champions League now.”
The Englishman, who scored his 24th goal of the season in Celtic’s 3-0 win over Rangers, added: “I am happy playing for Celtic and yesterday just underlined that. The crowd, the atmosphere, the feeling when you score at Celtic Park – it is amazing.”

Aye, he's away to Southampton

I'll give you that it is a growing irritation that small provincial clubs such as Southampton could potentially nick our best players, just because they get a £35m hand out for fighting a PL relegation battle. Don't kid yourselves that it's about prestige or football (fighting a relegation battle in the PL that is) - if that's the case it must not have been about the prestige or football when we could keep up with top six Premier League wages 10 years ago.

Are you suggesting that Henrik would have refused the opportunity to go to a big club like Southampton?

Surely not, he was just never offered the opportunity.

What a fkin spastic that **** Broon is

Was immense on Sunday, dare I say that I think his pass rate was very close to 100% success. He said he's never leaving Celtic as well - a legend in the making.

He continually makes a **** of himself, whether it's on the pitch or on the telly.

My uncle and cousins all have season books at porkheid and they hate him, they think he's ****e and a liability.

Well they must have your ****** gene - he's been one of our most consistent players for 2 seasons now.

sorry edge - he has improved a lot over the last 2 seasons - under mogga i would tear my hair out watching him but it looks like lenny has got him doing the simple things well now

lets not forget that lenny - for all his footballing shortcomings - was the master at the easy ball and taking it into feet and holding players off - broony does that much more often now than being caught trying to do a wee flick or a 20 yd ball when a 5yd one will do - his confidence is up and im surprised that you think most of parkhead dislike him - not where i sit mate

The guy that sits behind me ****ing hates Broon - gives him pelters when he's doing things right. It's a pain in the arse.

Before Broon, the guy did the same thing with Boyd - he pays his money, he gets his say but I think Broon's been brilliant the last two years.

Without the injuries this year, he'd be going for POTY with Mulgrew and Ledley <ok>

i think he has struggled to shake off the mowbray season and all but one of the strachan seasons - it was painful watching him then

on the occasions he does make a bad pass he gets more graons - but thats because of the history i think

anyone watching him now must concede that he is one of scotlands best midfielders
