The Allams may have been ruthless in sacking Bullard but to do this to a honorary son of this City and Football Club of ours is lunacy. As a result of the Allams stupid stupid actions (and for what?) their position as owners of OUR football club of 108 years standing is now totally and utterly untenable. Sell up now for your own sakes - you have gone from being seen as local philanthropists to ruthless businessmen and in doing so have lost total credibility. You should hang your heads in shame and leave town now.
He's not, he doesn't get paid and the suit doesn't get cleaned very often so there's no saving to be had there. (the current one never has and he's been doing it for a long time)
When I heard the news, I lit a cigar and poured a glass of red in the sunshine (I needed to be cheered up fast). It was that, or jump off a bridge... This is just mental. What is going on?!! Was it a Fabio like walkout due to irreconcilable differences? Will we hemorrhage players now? NB deserved a year, and a couple of million to have a go. The Allams better have some wizardry up their sleeves, or the club is going to implode. The words "gift to the city" seem to make no sense now...
Only this employee was effectively their number one salesman, and sacking him has probably cost them 20% of their turnover.
I was at school with NB, and you just don't do that to a local legend. Not after giving him the job! Mental.
One can only hope that AP comes up with a buyer asap so that the Allams can leave the KC sharpish with what little credibility they still have intact..
Buyer?! Get real. There needs to be some serious apologising and making up, or its going to get very messy very quickly.
I wouldnt be relying on Adam doing anything. It is not his club, FC is and that is his priority at present.
I don't neccesarily think that running the club like a business is wrong, It just needs to be a fine balance. If you try to run a club like a football club then unless you are either very rich or incredibly lucky you will more than likely end up in serious trouble (like Duffman did). However you cannot run a club solely like a business, because eventually the scrimping and saving may cost dearly. Don't get me wrong I'm not backing the Allams on this situation, I feel there is much more to the story than meets the eye.
If the Allams said no more cash, and NB said "not good enough", and the Allams say tough... And NB says I give up... Can you really blame the Allams? Suspending him is the error - if he walked over principle, fine, but to suspend him?????? It really is mental (3rd time I have said it). Just what is going on?!?!?!
Waking up to this i am gobsmacked.Just when you think things are rosy this happens.Part and parcel of being a City supporter i suppose. Anyway iam still looking forward to seeing them in August no matter what.Hope commonsense prevails.
